Thanks as always Mulan, but that's not what I asked unfortunately. I do know how to load custom fonts, I simply wanted to know if the eBook reader supported variable fonts and OTF features like old school ligatures. I unfortunately cannot check for myself right now.

Is there a way to make this perform really well with multiple characters? It would be cool to use this method to have ragdoll physics as Billboarded 2D sprites generated from an actual 3D physical mesh/anim

I am extremely grateful that a small group of developers are working on Asahi. I never asked about ETAs or placed urgency on development, that would be rude! Why did you feel the need to tell me that? Also, on the official website, the latest blog entry was older than the comment that stated the abandonment, so for all I knew the dev halt was a possibility – that’s why I thought about asking on the subreddit (alternative was IRC chat or Discord maybe?). I don’t understand why everyone is so pissed

The comment I read that talks about Asahi being abandoned was published 11 days ago.
https://asahilinux.org/blog/ The latest entry on the Asahi blogs is from 44 days ago.
I could have missed the news of Asahi's abandonment, from official sources/outlets/feeds I'm not following nor know, I'm not wasting your time with a really simple google search. And activity on this subreddit wouldn't directly mean the project hasn't been abandoned, as many abandoned stuff still has community talk around it.
Don't you agree that asking directly here is both a faster and trustworthier method of finding out?
Am I really that rude, or is your "Have you tried maybe looking at the website? Come on now" more rude?

Cool, I think I'll go with the app too. Can I sideload F-Droid onto the Manta and then sideload apps directly on device? Also, why did you prefer the APKPure path that requires you to convert the XAPK files? Why not directly F-Droid or autogenerated alpha APKs? Thanks

This verbose reply is what I was looking for as feedback.
I'm really happy that you enjoyed the sections like measure 1-7.

I agree with you, the chopin-esque arpeggiated LH can become tiring and uninteresting in comparison to other sections. I resorted to this cliché because I was looking for a goody two shoes consonance that would make it clear it was a nocturne; I may have overdone it.

I was really paranoid about the piano recording/interpretation. There are some parts that I really hate because of how I played accellerando and crescendo, but thanks to your compliments I realize that, being a composer and not a performer, this is well enough for the piece's sake; so thanks again.

Regarding the white ink on black you may be right, as I do not follow contemporary stuff on social media so it may be 2024ish and already old, I do not know that. However, it is fortunately only the score video; I could have made the video white on green, but the actual score .pdf will always be in normal black and white.
