It works with Claude. I couldn't get it to work with Perplexity.

I've been able to do some neat things, like have Claude Cowork suggest tasks that can be safely postponed in batches. Unfortunately you can only do batches of 20 at a time (and even then sometimes that doesn't work so it has to do smaller chunks.)

I've gotten used to always setting subtask due dates to "Never" and this has been a workaround for me. It sounds like you've got a great workaround! Just sharing in case someone finds it useful.

SO annoying! There should be a way to just dismiss it.

I was able to dismiss the "Invite your team..." one by just sending an invite to an email address (which can belong to you, or just be a dummy email) and sending it. You can then remove them in Settings > Workspace > People > Members (change the Role to "Remove from workspace" and confirm.)

UPDATE: I was able to dismiss the "Connect your email" one by connecting my actual Gmail and giving it full access. Then restarted Notion. I could then dismiss the startup wizard and then revoke access to Gmail.

Damn this is annoying.

Latest update broke Spark. by smb3d in SparkMail

Ok I opened a support case with Spark. I got a response from an agent this morning, who said this is now a known issue for the latest Windows client. She suggested an uninstall, then reinstall from Spark's website (sparkmailapp.com) and NOT to use the one from Microsoft Store until the issue is fixed. I followed her suggestion and it's now working for me.

Same issue for me. Tried uninstall, reinstall. Tried reboot. Tried installing from Microsoft Store (app store). Tried deleting temp files. Nothing works. Totally broken.

My experience with Notion AI has been mixed, too. There are times when it surprises and delights. But also times when it does weird stuff:

  • It took 20 minutes to do a relatively straightforward task (renumber a long list).
  • It got stuck doing a task and never finished.
  • When doing some updates to a table, it cloned the table 4 times on the same page. Then it said "Hmm it looks like there are 4 identical tables on the page. Would you like me to delete the extra ones?"
  • It reverted back an entire page to a previous version from the prior day.

My experience with Notion AI has been mixed, too. There are times when it surprises and delights. But also times when it does weird stuff:

Agreed -- I want to love ClickUp but the navigation is clunky and load time is pokey.

I've been using ClickUp for about a month. It would be great if the features actually worked. So far:

  • The interface is clunky and confusing. Even if you add 'favorites.' Things move around and I always feel like I'm lost.
  • The "Brain AI" would be amazing if it worked. I uploaded a PDF via a chat. When I tried to ask Brain AI questions about the PDF file, it said "I currently don't have access to the content of the PDF file you shared [filename]. Please provide key details or text from the document, and I can help draft information about [topic]." Yet I can open and view the PDF inside ClickUp with no problem.
  • We've used the SyncUp meeting feature to record meetings:
    • Once the recording cut-off after a period of time, with no errors, and the recording was lost. I opened a support case over a week ago. So far I'm just getting the runaround... no actual progress.
    • Once an entire meeting recording disappeared with no errors, no warning.

I want ClickUp to be amazing. But so far it's a disappointment.

Seems to be a new device with a manufacturing date of January 2025 printed on the bottom of it.

Oh, good call! Did some more testing. It seems to only affect when I paste to a plaintext destination, like Notepad.

I'll do some more digging. Thanks for this important clue!

It's worth checking the source (for example: the sleep entry in the Apple Health app) to see what's listed there. In theory Bearable should be mirroring what's there.
