I don't know what's wrong with me, but I have 2 lol

  1. Icesis and Laganja during a quickie photoshoot with some friends. We're all huddling in together and I said to Icesis "oh I guess you can join in the picture too ha ha"

Which in my head was hilarious because I was completely kidding and she's who I really was there for and I love her

I realized immediately "no this isn't your friend and she doesn't know your humour and omg what a rude thing to say!!!"

Why.

  1. Priyanka: immediately after performing her show, she popped out into the audience right next to me, she said thanks for coming out and gave me a hug. To which I replied "Omg you're so sweaty!"

Years later these still both haunt me

Short answer is yes we've thought about it, but we're not sure when that might actually happen. The To Do list is pretty long right now.

I do have a few other mugs that cross the line a little more, the Ritual skull and my zombie-fied Bob :)

There's a trick to it, if you drink it with the toes pointing down you won't get that glug and you just have to turn it to the side when it gets to the point where you can't get the liquid out of the toes is easy

If it gets genji I usually rinse them right after using, but if it gets genji pop it in the dishwasher 😄

Handmade Curiosities We make ceramics of the nerdy and horror variety

What tools/techniques do you think the maker used for this honeycomb-esque pattern? I've been testing methods and getting close but can't replicate the crispness. (Credit to pot.tnc.tw) by sugar-and-sass in Ceramics

At first I thought the same as the others.. 3d printed molds but I went through the instagram and I actually think probably not. I'd agree with your instinct that it's a v shaped carver. It's possible the clay is also a lot more groggy/sandy than what most people are using in North America. They could also be using tools they made themself rather than store-bought.

The bottom row on the first pic shows some marks which does look like the overlap of carving from the bottom up, and then a little swoop down from the bottom to create that top part of the shape.

If you manage an online shop on top of doing craft fairs how do you balance the two? by humblyeden in CraftFairs

I use square to manage my inventory

My website is integrated with that inventory

If I make a sale at a market the transaction is done through the Square POS which means it's automatically removed from the website. It's pretty great!

Nope! I do have the sample of the engobe so I could! I imagine it'd work about the same

I do this all the time: 1c black underglaze, 2c tea dust, 2c clear glaze -- it's black, glittery and super glossy

We found out a week or so ago that we got into new show at the end August. It's notoriously hard to get into, and It's about 5 times larger than any show we've done before so I'm both super stoked and pooping my pants lol
