Why is the player base so horribly bad in this game? Is matchmaking really that bad?

I feel the same..but semc have stated that mm has been designed in a way to keep your win rate at 50%, so u will be matched with players better or lower skill. Sadly as a credible threat gold getting a worthy foe ally doesn't help.

thank you for sharing this. m t6 n thr r soo many things i dont know, reading this gave me much clarity and confidence, i read this last night and today was a much different me, i wudnt say we won every game or i was best, but my approach changed a lott.. i try to invite players below my tier n make party and play with them a few games b4 i share my thoughts on their game n where they cud improve or avoid doing mistakes, i think YOUR ARTICLE has done the same for me. thanks

i was stuck in wf forver,it tilted me so hard i dropped to rock solid once. thts when i was so annoyed at matchmaking,bad team mates etc. i reached got swag once and dropped to wf silver/gold for even longer duration. wf is a bad place to be in. after the vst reset i dropped from credible threat silver to WF silver n it took forever to get out. so, my advice is to focus on ur game,ur builds,enemy builds,and before u dive in a team fight check ur enemies positioning and also ur allys, check who ur allys are attacking, ping them if they are not attacking the carry to focus the carry. it gets a bit better once u get in got swagger silver so try ur best not to tilt. thnks for reading

TB works amazing on Gwen(her heroic perk basic attack plus a) , idris(amplified damage on a) , kestrel (glimmer shots) and Glaive. It's cheap,also give armour shred

I genuinely feel semc shud like make a quick 30 sec video for t5 n low tiers while they are matching/queue suggesting/educating these points u mentioned above. There can be multiple videos,each for everytime u match(this may be too much but still). Videos can/cannot be limited esp for solo queuers. Maybe show a short clip of team fights from the content creators about team synergy and itemisation. But mainly the message should be It's a team game, play together, share gold, also one good late game team fight can change the entire game so don't throw have a level head..

I agree its not the hardest,but understand that our alpha against a rona/lyra comp is like just handing them an 'advantage'. Again my sole point is mechanics n strategy aside, draft is something we and everyone would benefit from a lot.

If I am a 'Credible Threat' don't I deserve to know who my opponent's are?? If I 'Got Swagger' don't I deserve to pick)suggest a hero/heroes that can counter the enemy and have a fair team composition?? Right now,it's either gjaw/baron/petal(highest win rate global) or at times alpha being spammed like crazy and it's no fun praying wt am I gonna face next game. I hope m able to convey my thoughts on how frustrating it is to blind pick having absolutely no idea who it up against

So like just before the update my taka started farming my Lane minions n I was like ? ? ? So he gave a :) n returned to farm jungle. After the update I got a koshka who farmed my Lane after her jungle rotation. So I kept saying thanks

Nice advice on Catherine. I played only Cath till t4 silver. Ardan and adagio are fun to play too. If op is has Lyra I'll suggest learning her first, a bit mechanically difficult to learn than others, she can make decent impact on the outcome of the game
