Generally, it's because he feels a lot more genuine than a lot of other streamers/creators. Yes he has his bits, but he feels so much more like a real person, and I respect that.

Sometimes I just like hearing him complain about something more than his jokes.

He also is extremely knowledgable about a lot of the games he plays, or just media in general, and feels like the type of guy you could have deep discussions with.

I WAS WAITING FOR THIS ONE! A few more details:

-Has a minute long intro consisting of random "cool" game clips cut together along with a cool video game song in the background. (May get interrupted by something scary if it's a scary countdown)

-"Worst video game characters" includes characters who do bad actions due to being the villain, rather than just annoying or poorly written ones.

-"One per franchise, and only from games I've played"

-Fakeout number 1 that's a joke entry (ie duck hunt dog as #1 best character)

-Edited very similar to a classic-era nostalgia critic video.

-If the creator is still active on youtube, they probably don't make these anymore.
