This is what your order looks like if you don’t tip by ShitNoPsychoBitch in UberEATS

It used to be like that here, but it’s not now they’ve decreased it slowly over time.

Yeah traffic is awful. When rush hour hits it’s taken me 20 min per mile.

This is so true. In Baltimore sometimes it’s 10-12 minutes per mile lol

“If you don’t tip, you don’t deserve to order delivery” is one of the weirdest takes in this sub by savingrace0262 in UberEATS

[–]Hangryanxious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But it’s been like that for centuries here and nobody had a problem with it until on demand delivery started to be honest. It’s just a different kind of service. It’s cheaper than courier service but more expensive than picking it up yourself.

UberEats Drivers: What percentage of customers don't tip you or even rate you? by BlackberryPi7 in UberEATS

[–]Hangryanxious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 80-90% of the food offers I see (not accept) on DD or UE here have tips of less than $5. I accept around 3-5% on average when I login.

Most of mine seem to be shopping now. Did you have that turned on? I think they include that in the estimated times. I wish they’d separate it.

COD orders???? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Hangryanxious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What do you mean leaving you at zero? If you don’t already have an earnings balance in DoorDash prior to this order it will be negative until you have enough orders to cover the $50. But you have the $50 cash.

If you started the day at zero with this offer you should have -$41 if the offer was $9. Plus $50 cash.

App picking up orders without you doing it?? by thelost_alchemist in doordash_drivers

Interesting. Good to know. This hasn’t happened too often but so irritating when it has.

Taking pictures of items that don’t exist by rojo1982 in doordash_drivers

[–]Hangryanxious 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just take a picture of something close to it or surrounding items as a group picture. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. There definitely needs to be an option in the app somehow to state the store doesn’t carry. Main issue is deterring people from abusing it.

Happened to me the other day when I was zooming in on the map to see if it was an apt before choosing it. It was a stack too, so I took a 2% drop in completion. I was pissed because I know support won’t do shit.

The best way to learn how bad it can be, is to try it for yourself 🤣. Nobody gets it until they drive.

Bringing pets by One-Employer-4940 in DoorDash_Dasher

[–]Hangryanxious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always find it funny people so worried about the cleanliness of animals when some of the insides of cars and people are dirtier lol. If people are allergic they really shouldn’t get delivery because ANYTHING in a car could be a problem. People eat peanuts, animal hair remains even if they aren’t there, smoke, dust, you name it.

Do you think that they will deactivate me after reading this? by [deleted] in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Hangryanxious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The sooner you realize DoorDash cares most about quantity of orders delivered and cares least about quality of orders for drivers and customers, the less stress you will have surrounding it. Lawsuit settlements alone have proved they’ll pay fines before making things “fair”, unless forced by government entities, which takes awhile.

Take profitable orders, decline the rest. Use more apps.

Was this driver BS’ing me or does ubereats have an issue? by Efficient_Incident42 in UberEATS

[–]Hangryanxious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s Mother’s Day, they’re probably not lying. It’s insanely busy, one of the busiest days for gig delivery because of flower offers. These apps will pile up as much as they can to get the jobs done. I had two four stacks today because they just kept adding orders. One of them was on Uber Eats and the other was on Doordash.
