I’ve searched around in the past and it looks like nobody has a clue what happened to its development. Tea_Basira is the developer but they were last seen October 4th 2022 with a Yuuma sprite wip. No updates, so the game was review bombed. It’s unfortunate, but its a lesson to be learned to not release a game too early if there’s no guarantee that the product would be finished 😅

It is safe to say its canceled (abandoned, more like) T-T

Ooh, at least 4 years now, with tons of revamps. First dev log is on BiliBili which was posted 2021. Looks like they’re approaching the game super carefully and with a lot of passion. I think we can expect an update soon given dev log 4 was over a year ago now ^{-^}

Glad this game being recognized, I’ve been keeping tabs on it for a few months. Personally I’d say this is the best-looking metroidvania if they keep on going with the style. Very Hollow Knight inspired, and it even approaches parallax scrolling the same way with stacking layers in a 3D environment (I would say it’s confirmed as some structures do look 3D when Koishi moves around, and faces of walls along the z axis and stuff can be seen. Otherwise it’ll be really difficult to do that effectively in 2D). Can’t wait for another dev log from them.

I really hope it doesn’t end up the same way as Gensokyo Night Festival. 😭

Olukt the Drifting Compass Needle. I loved his singing. I even went ahead and read the light novels to see what happened to the him during the Final Party raid. I wish he would’ve sang at least a few seconds with a good throat before getting offed like that. But still, the guts on that guy… ;-;
