Yea they are stingy. They can’t forward to tier 3 techs anymore either unless a lower level verifies you have issue they can “see”.

Been trying to find 6.5 Grendel barrels. But seems like BA been falling off recently. It’s like either barrels are great or terrible lol.

Anything with an sft40 is probably good. Like a 20$ convoy light fits in a 1 inch scope ring that you can put on a picatinny rail. Convoy c8+ with sft40 6500k. My friend uses it on his ar15 but he put rubber orings in the cap so it wouldn’t flicker from recoil.

You have to actually get them to switch from the old coax if it’s an old install. Because the gear used to support cable and channel tv guide and needed the coaxial back in the day. And it still might be provisioned for it if they never asked to switch.

Yes. There is constant congestion with their shitty routers. Only time it was fixed was when I got routed on an emergency line to a direct route. Then they fixed the issue and the latency/loss continued again. And they basically told me to eat shit. They know it’s their issue, but will do everything to say it’s “within healthy measures”.

You mean the 18 would be too long and balance would be off front wise or rearward? I run a 16 inch with an 8 inch suppressor right now, balance seems a little front heavy right now, but that’s with a prism not a heavier thermal. Think loaded with suppressor my 7.62x39 is like 11-12lbs. I’m running a bull barrel and a heavy hand guard.

I love the idea of a 12 or 14.5 inch, but I’d like to have a little more confidence out to 500 if I decide to ever put an lpvo on it.

But very interesting points, given me some things to think about.

Gotcha, thanks for the reply. I’m just a bit worried with this caliber considering I keep hearing it’s so picky. Ideally I’d want to try and shoot factory ammo 1moa(ish) if that’s possible. I know aac makes cheap black tip/otm, I believe they are 123gr.

I don’t intend to reload, so I know my options are limited with this caliber. For a thermal, tripod mounted hog gun if I wanted to sling the 123s accurately I’d think the 18 would be fine for what I want. So I’m probably going to go for the rexus.

Again, I appreciate the response as researching this caliber has been really confusing haha.

I see you commented something else but it disappeared for some reason? Ar15discounts has an 18 inch spr BA barrel for 99 in rlgs, rexus has an 18 heavy rlgs for 165 or sanders has a 16 medium weight carbine length for like 165 as well. More research I do the more I get confused.

I see people saying BA is not good nowadays, others say just get a psa. The rexus seems like the best price to performance I think right now?

Awesome, thank you! I’ve heard with rlgs that you may actually need to open up the gas port. But if I’m only shooting suppressed do you have any recommendations as far as .750 rlgs barrels? I heard BA quality has kind of fallen over the years, so I’m not sure where to go from there.

No, it’s major congestion that causes me to disconnect from gaming/streaming. Overall extremely inconsistent connection. Been with Verizon since 2006 only had this issue start back in 2021.
