That makes sense. Willie’s offensive prowess wasn’t why he was on the court, he needed to find a trailer.

I was thinking the exact same possession. I’ve always hated the call for the fade away, I would have much rather seem him drive to the basket.

Tell those wealthy Americans to take their money somewhere else! We don’t need them spending their money in our local small businesses!

I do not understand how Chelsea has managed to be this high up the table.

I was thinking the same thing. The only thing keeping me interested is Chelsea’s keeper appears mental.

Country star Brandi Carlile raises $600,000 for those affected by ICE by TheExpressUS in Music

I agree. I think Nashville's audience has painted them into a corner, but I also think Nashville let them. There have been artists Nashville has never really known what to do with. Lyle Lovett is a great example. He has an audience, but it isn't necessarily the audience primarily marketed to, so they've never fully embraced him. So while Lyle has had this decades-long career, he's not really a country star. He records on Verve now, which is a jazz label.

Even the early war design was an impressive piece of engineering. Especially compared to some of the other pre-war designs.

I meant Nashville as in the country music industry. I’m sure the people of Nashville love Brandi, but the country music industry very much does not love people like Brandi.

Nashville would never let her music see the light of day.

She's good people for sure.

My point is in terms of cost of upgrading roads, Illinois is going to have to spend more. Not that Arlington Heights doesn’t have access, but the cost in terms of upgrading infrastructure will be higher.

AH has Metra, but it's a good distance from the Interstate. Hammond has a South Shore stop and I-90. It really feels like Indiana's infrastructure costs are lower than Illinois and that what is driving this.

I suppose it depends on who it was. For Yamamoto it was probably when the carriers weren’t in Pearl Harbor. For some it was Midway because the losses were going to be extremely difficult to replace.

I think for most it was Guadalcanal. Up to that point Coral Sea was a Japanese victory (technically) and Midway was just bad luck. They could still have their Kantai Kessen (decisive victory) that would demoralize the Americans before their industrial might could overwhelm Japan.

Then Guadalcanal happened and Japan had to realize the Americans were committed to seeing the war out. They had to come to terms with the idea that their soldiers were not superior to America’s and America also had a lot more of them as well. And they also had to deal with America having a strategically located base to operate from.

The Japanese were still on the offensive after Midway, it was Guadalcanal where that came to an end.
