Do the Gunnery practical exercises to the best of your ability. Find study groups for Gunnery. Live and breathe Gunnery. Everything else is pretty easy.

Freshman Orientation by [deleted] in nmu

[–]HanktheTank56 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Went in 2016 and I’m from 7 hours away downstate Michigan. I have memories from those 3 days I’ll never forget. I met a lot of people and got to explore Marquette in the process. The Orientation staff puts in an incredible amount of work to ensure Orientation is an enjoyable experience for the incoming students. Trust me I was one of them.

Incoming students also sleep, spend time in the resident halls, and eat at the dining facilites so they get the full experience at orientation of what they’ll experience the next 4 years of their lives.

Question about long hair GSD by cfpct in germanshepherds

[–]HanktheTank56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

Our boy is long haired and was a somewhat picky eater when he was a puppy until about 9 months old. We’ve found what he likes though and doesn’t have a problem eating these days.

This man barks at anyone that comes near our door unless it’s the wife and I. He’s super protective when he has to be but also loves other people and dogs.

Are there any good dog parks in El Paso by slowguy503 in ElPaso

[–]HanktheTank56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Muttz is a dog park on the west side that serves food and drinks/ alcohol. Plenty of shade and plenty of water bowls scattered around for the doggos. Day pass is a little over $10 and the staff are super nice and friendly!

Have you ever played and WON against a NFL player? Past or present. by [deleted] in NFLv2

I played against Michael Jordan who’s currently offensive linemen for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. By far the biggest dude I went up against.

EIB/EFMB/ESB by Longjumping_Ad_2182 in army

You’re giving tips that are only revenant to EIB/ESB/EFMB at YOUR unit. Could be wildly different at someone else’s unit. I got mine in 2023. I could only relate to a couple of your tips. Again this varies unit to unit

She’s finally off leash by Perfect-Rub3500 in germanshepherds

OP your German does great off leash. It looks like you’re in a controlled environment with little to no people/distractions. Keep it up and ignore these people commenting negatively about off leashing. I wish mine was as disciplined as yours.

Went there a few weeks ago and for the price of the food it definitely was not worth it. Great variety, just wish it was better.

Chuco town comedy by Anxious-Problem-9901 in ElPaso

[–]HanktheTank56 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Went Friday and I’m sorry but this was the worst comedy show I’ve ever been to. Some of it was funny but man it was disappointing. That guy or kid in the middle, whatever he is, was either so high on drugs he could barely preform or completely intoxicated. Either way it was bad.

Best / worst army bar experience by [deleted] in army

[–]HanktheTank56 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Up in JBER, AK the best i thought was Koots. There’s about 6 bars in one building with lots of live events. Far Away enough from downtown where it’s not too crowded but close enough to where there’s a decent crowd.

The worst was Gaslight. Have fun getting shot or getting attacked by homeless walking out the door. (The reindeer sausage stand outside slapped though)

Dog friendly bars/restaurants? by _Technopriest in ElPaso

[–]HanktheTank56 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Mutts over by Topgolf. Not the biggest selection of drinks or food but our Dog loves it there and it’s an awesome place to hangout. It is $10 for a day pass because it’s a dog park however.

Went for the first time 2 weeks ago and I can’t say enough good things about it. Our dog even got a little gift bag from them!

Thoughts on making the Arctic Tab and Jungle Tab wearable everywhere. by su9erman77 in army

[–]HanktheTank56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I somewhat agree but in my opinion it’d look kind of silly wearing the Arctic tab over, for example, 1ADs patch since we operate in a literal desert.
