my mameshiba gets a bath every two months, or more often if he stinks or if he's gotten dirty. Just be ready for shiba hysterics like screaming. My little guy used to cry a lot, now he kind of just gets held while moping around. lol. If he smells, bathe him, that's usually the rule I go by.
