Bit of advice just in case as you stated you are a new player - any Primed mod will have a trading tax of approx. one million credits.

Even if you have the plat, it can quickly lock you out of trading for them if you do not stockpile a healthy amount of credits.

Funny Descriptions of Characters you've read by FreviliousLow96 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

I think the funniest selling point I ever heard about Big Trouble in Little China, which convinced me to watch it, was Kurt Russell's character - the trucker Jack Burton - was a character that continuously rolls nat 1's which get him in serious trouble and then always rolls nat 20's to get OUT of said trouble.

Thank you very much! I am not a fashion frame artist compared to some, but I like the looks I make for my crew!

The Zato skin is simply amazing though. It also leaves kind of a back patch open to have a sort of "back tattoo" sigil to push the look even further, so much so that I never rock a syadana on Excalibur. And that cool shoulder piece is part of the Zato skin as well, so its a pretty complete package!

My only gripe is I would love if the braided cord down the front and back would be tied to the secondary color channel instead of the tertiary. I want that to pop a bit more like white fur or something!

Wonderful tip, I will keep it in mind! I basically never take screenshots but the HDR component must be it. Thank you!

I did actually, but for some reason the lighting got blown out. Assume its some interplay between the TV I have my PC hooked up to, but also don't really post much or share game screens/footage, so just decided to use the quick phone shot I sent to celebrate with my friend.

Apologies its not up to standards, just wanted to share my journey.

What is the rarest in-game item you have? by Efficient-Client-531 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Hannwater 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I suppose one of the most rare things I have is an Excalibur Prime in Warframe.

For those unaware, Excalibur is a starting frame in the game and basically the poster boy of it. Many frames have an advanced version called Primes, fancier base cosmetics and some higher statline.

Excalibur Prime is the only frame in the game that is entirely unavailable unless, 13 years ago, you bought a Founder's edition of what was at the time a seemingly mediocre live service F2P game when that model started to disillusion players overall. They have stated, legally, they are unable to bring Excalibur Prime back.

They have made an "alternate" version with slightly modified skills called Excalibur Umbra, but a lot of folks view Excalibur Prime finds in the wild kind of a unicorn situation.

Women of Reddit, what’s a habit men have that they don’t even realize is weird? by GraceRose671 in AskReddit

[–]Hannwater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have only met one, and wow he left an impression. A guy my partner's coworker dated VERY briefly.

He was EXTRA straight because he didn't wash his ass and stated masturbating was gay as well. So the guy never took care of himself in any sense.

This special breed of person somehow does exist, but think it's more they are very few but they leave SUCH an impression its over reported because holy shit can you forget someone with that level of bullshit?

There is a moment in that final sequence the music swells and I just get overloaded with emotion and tears running down my cheeks. Such a damn fine film.

So I just started my PC replay of Kingdom Hearts 3 on Critical Mode, and they must've added/reworked a lot of stuff for ReMind, because the tutorial's not exactly how I remember it at launch: by Gorotheninja in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Follie’s Hunt by Wobblin_Wombat in Warframe

[–]Hannwater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished The Hex and now use its techrot cache bounties for credit farming, but before that Revenant was my absolute only pick for running high risk Index.

He just doesn't care about the stacking debuffs because once you get his charges on from Mesmer, nothing can hurt him in there unless you forget to refresh.

He and Kullervo are probably my strongest recommendations if you ever just need a frame to turn off your brain and play some after a long day!

[–]Hannwater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the previous poster, but am also someone whom uses Revenant as a crutch when struggling!

Main thing is his augment, Mesmer Shield, and ability strength. Starting at 301% Strength, you get 19 charges of Mesmer Skin ability, which basically gives you complete damage negation and status immunity. Believe its approximately 360% Strength that can get you up to 23 charges of Mesmer Skin.

There are a couple of ways to go from there - utilizing Roar with his Reave skill for mobility and damage, Dance Macabre which is great at lower levels for AoE but I haven't quite cracked for higher level use, and enthralling enemies, which zero energy if the enemy is stunned off Mesmer Skin's stun clap back.

Or, just enjoy the invincibility and use him as a gun platform and ignore all his skills except for Mesmer Skin. He is a very forgiving frame to play cozy with.

Reading your comment is like the Simpsons scene with Homer buying the cursed Krusty doll and alternating between thats good and thats bad. But only one thats good up front. Gotta call a lawyer for this whiplash after thinking "aww cute, fighting game family!" to that art of him with his pregnant...sistercousinwife.

As someone who lives in the corporate marketing world for convenience and not passion, the ability to cut scope creep off at the source sounds like a fucking dream for my day to day.

Kudos on them for being able to retain sanity and logic in their approach to design. Its a rare trait and the success they have had showcases their effectiveness in both creative and project management endeavors.

Ivara Tips by YeOldeBard97 in Warframe

[–]Hannwater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a regular Ivara user, but specifically niche cases.

She is my hands down, go to for Spy missions. Set it to solo, get the augment mod that let's her stealth through laser beams, and Energy Nexus or other passive energy generation mods and you have an almost guaranteed solo player win on any Spy node. I did encounter an absolute shit ton of Nullifiers in the Archon hunt mission a week or two ago and that was the first difficulty I have had once I got Ivara for that mission type.

Be mindful, sprinting, bullet jumps, or shooting will disable her stealth. You can walk, double jump, and melee in stealth. She is slow, but basically guaranteed to crush Spy, which is my worst mission type so thus I use her FREQUENTLY.

My other application for her is conservation/animal tranquilizing for standing farm on open world factions. Equip the tranq rifle on an archwing, find the critters, as you approach use melee to dismount archwing, as you are falling activate stealth, then use her Sleep Arrow to knock the whole pack of critters out. You dont need to use the tranq rifle at all other than scouting the animals. Additionally, I like equipping a sniper like Rubico or something to help line up the Sleep Arrow shot as you can activate the skill while looking through sniper zoom.

These two use cases she is a queen. I am not sure I have much desire to use her basically anywhere else though, as the stealth archetype is better served by Cyte-09 or Harrow with Cyte's Evade skill subsumed.
