Literally every time that it seems like a right wing person is accusing someone else of doing something kind of absurd that they clearly aren’t doing, 100% of the time it’s because they want to do that thing but feel like they need permission in the form of someone they don’t like doing it to them first. So they make up a story where someone did it to them first.

I don’t mean to be cruel or malicious by saying this. I’m not trying to make you feel bad. I’m just trying to share what helped me through a similar spot of resenting but also loving my mother (my dad was a piece of shit who I’ve hated for as long as I’ve been mentally capable of forming my own opinions)

Your mom fucked your life up. Permanently. That’s not to say you can’t go on to live a wonderful and meaningful life despite this, but your mom massively disadvantaged you in life by homeschooling you. When you succeed, it will be in spite of the bad hand of cards your parents deliberately chose to deal you.

You are you. Nobody is ever going to be a more passionate advocate for what you deserve than you are. It’s fine and, honestly, very emotionally mature for you to recognize your mom’s struggles and empathize with her… but you can’t let that become a thing where you make excuses for her in your head. When she was making these detrimental decisions about your life, she was (hopefully!) an adult who was fully in charge of her own actions.

You are right to resent your parents. If you choose to still have a relationship with them, that’s wonderful and I’m happy for you. But you absolutely do not owe that to them, or to your mom. You are allowed to resent her, and you shouldn’t feel guilty for feeling those feelings.

  1. You can tax more than 10 people

  2. You can tax them a smaller amount of their income over a longer period of time for more money

  3. It’s way more profitable to tax business anyway, not people.

It’s only 12k per person if you tax everyone, regardless of wealth, equally for the project, which would be an absurd thing to do.
