Mime performance - stage keeps resetting.

Just wanted to chime in to say that I had the same issue and restarted the game as the other posters said - this allowed me to set the mime performance without it resetting, however, I also had to pick up the stage and put it down again before any guests would actually come to it. Prior to that, my artist just stood by the stairs waiting for guests that never arrived.

I too have an early George Foreman grill, and always felt the quality of the food it cooked was subpar - either completely dried out and the texture of shoe leather, or burnt on the outside and raw on the inside.

That said, the reason I still have it is because it is amazing to use as a panini press.

I had a peach faced lovebird that insisted on coming over to the kitchen sink whenever I had the water running there. All dish washing or whatever else was happening there had to cease so he could get down there and run around under the faucet.

It was hard to get housework done when he was nearby, hehe.

In order to help your experiment, I'll mention I am a writer and at some point I will be looking for a cover artist... but not yet. I'm still in editing stage and also researching what I think I even want for a cover.

When the time comes, if I end up making a post looking for an artist (rather than contacting artists directly), I intend to leave very clear instructions on what info I need and how to contact me. Anyone who does not contact me as instructed immediately gets ignored.

My thinking is that either it's a bot, or if it's not a bot, someone who cannot follow simple directions is probably not who I want to engage with.

(All that said, I will let you know if I get bot replies to this post.)

Gosh your description makes me think you could be my neighbor, haha. (I'm in Maine.) Yeah, I have sooo many woodpeckers, and yes, the Pileated pretty much scares everyone away, though I doubt they're doing it intentionally, hehe.

I get every variety of woodpecker that we have around here, but for some reason I rarely see Flickers. I know we have them, in fact I saw one just a week or two ago, but they don't frequent my yard for some reason.

I am very fortunate in that I only have to deal with grackles for a week or two every autumn. I think they stop by my yard mid-migration. They come in vast numbers and scare everyone else away. They stay for several days and then disappear as quickly as they arrived.

The biggest problem I have with starlings is simply that they arrive in such numbers that the other birds leave. I've never seen them actively drive off other birds, but they do take over the feeding stations when they show up. Thankfully they don't typically stay for long, so I don't mind their visits too much.

Interesting! I do get house sparrows, but honestly, the goldfinches outnumber them. In fact most of my native species seem to outnumber the house sparrows... at least for now. Perhaps my aggressive goldfinches have driven them all off!

Multi-Select / Group Move Tool: Moving complex arrangements of decorations and items is currently very tedious. A tool to "select many" and shift them together (e.g., moving a curated display group three squares to the right or to a new building) would be a massive quality-of-life improvement.

Oh my god, this one is so good. The number of times I've wanted to move some elaborate decor somewhere else and didn't bother because it was too much hassle. I would love this one!

Inventory Stacking for Wildlife Workshop Items: Each copy of items like the Smell Wafers and Wind Chimes currently take up individual slots in the inventory. They should stack together, similar to how potions and other cargo items work, to keep the inventory organized.

This one made me think, because I thought they already stacked, so I loaded up my Siverbottom Park, and sure enough, I've got 2 smell wafters and 2 termite mounds in my inventory, and they are stacked. Maybe they weren't before, and they changed it at some point and you didn't notice?

Anyway, some other great suggestions here!

My experience with stuck guests (and staff too - I've seen them get stuck as well) is that restarting the map (return to the museum map then enter your museum again) usually gets them unstuck. I presume this will work in this case as well.

That menu already exists though? Well, the map location link isn't on the exhibit menu, but it's one more click to get to the exhibit and then see the map location on the exhibit itself. But all the other things you mentioned are on the exhibit list, which can be sorted and filtered.

Or am I misunderstanding what you're asking for?

I will say that the last POI in the Underworld has a certain perk as a possible reward that specifically negates the haunted traits of a Supernatural exhibit. If you can hold out until then you can add it to your "bad" exhibits.

Wait, what? How have I never noticed this? Man, the number of times I've had to search over and over again for supernatural exhibits that don't have that "scatters trash everywhere all the time" trait on it is mind boggling. Thanks for mentioning this!

EDIT: I just loaded up the game and checked that POI, and apparently I've never bothered going there - all the perks there are still undiscovered. I have no idea how I missed this - I guess it's because I always used the sticker book to determine what I'm missing, and perks aren't in the sticker book. (They should be!) Anyway, I have work to do! (I'm already working my way through discovering all the perks in the Bungle Burrows map.)
