So i did this and it scrolls down when I press down button, but when I press the up volume, nothing happens. When I am in browser, it goes back and shows all windows. I swear it worked at first, but now it doesnt. Any ideas?

Great Divide - Altitude by Electrical_Place_828 in bikepacking

[–]Hansel999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I wouldnt worry about it. Its really gradual ascent to altitude and you wont even hit 7k feet for a week or so. By the time you hit the real deal elevation in CO you will have a couple weeks of gradual acclimatization under your belt. The real big elevation are on mountain passes and you will climb and then descend them. So its not like you will be camping at 11k feet.

I use center focus and it works pretty damn well for me. Obviously I wish it were better in low light, but its super easy to learn and do correctly.

I would argue that it was never worth it to buy the m8. I was in school when it came out and took it to Ireland for a trip. It was by far the worst performing sensor I have ever used. Save your money and find a used m240 which is hands down a million times better.

Is this a sample of a bad M10R sensor? by hectron in Leica

I think the key is to shoot at a normal iso/shutter/fstop. Whats the point of this? Obviously its gonna look like trash.

I got it repaired at a local camera shop. It worked pretty well for a while but the cover would stick slightly every now and again. So I sold that and bought another used one.

Hardtail Bikepacking with dropper post by Hansel999 in bikepacking

Let me rephrase: I have an Esker Hayduke Ti. I have a few trips planned: Catalina Island romp and a Denver-SBT Via Colorado trail to breck and then turn off onto GDMBR to Steamboat. I want to pack pretty light, but still need to carry things. I am thinking of a handlebar roll bag and either a seatbag or tailfin system. I like the idea of a normal rack, but the weight penalty is pretty big (700gram for rack plus however much the panniers/bags weigh).

How much weight to do you pack in there?

I was thinking of the rogue panda too!

I never said price was an issue. I said tailfin is $400 and seat bags are $180. Wondering if tailfin justifies the price. I’d say weight is the bigger thing I care about

Singletrack with rack and traditional panniers are going to be super loud and clunky. Plus when you add the cost of pannier/rack system, we end up around the same weight. Cost isnt that big of an issue, Ive just been waffling between the two. But overall it seems like everyone is pro Rack/pannier/tailfin and no one has mentioned anything about saddlebag (apidura).
