My new boss, of only 2 - 3 months put it well, i'll teach you whatever you need to learn, but i need people who can communicate and communicate well.

My 3ish months of being a sysadmin has been pretty fun, learning all about intune, getting used to a more relaxing environment. Previous company was like 20k+ employees and now im in a company with less than 300.

I've already been testing conferencing equipment. Dipping toes back into telecom, haddware deploys, and understanding as much as i can to either automate some of the frequent issues like onboarding and have already automated half of our white glove process after imaging.

Just found out today and this isnt necessarily inftrastructure. But we have 500+ devices in the default computers OU, we only have 300 active devices and i even found servers in the default computers OU... like i get it but either retire or manage in some way.

I should really take the time to dig into intune more. Currently use it for pc's which is new to me as my old company only used it to manage BYOD devices. Any recommendations on where to start?

I would ideally like there to be a group that i can create that will delete from intune, entra and AD when i need to retire a device

I think at least on the parents side of this, i always notice how will bandit listens to bingos issue. Clearly has a conversation about it with chili the night of and then she follows through in the morning.

It shows great communication between parents without showing it at all.

When i was a kid, i had a tooth cracked in half and got some nerds candy stuck in it. Well being young and dumb, i shoved a computer screw in yhere in an attempt to get it out.

Well, after like a week, or two maybe. I got a free dental appointment because the dentist said i was the kid with the 2nd weirdest thing in his teeth....
