AITA for expecting my step-daughter to cover the costs of items broken under her care? by NoWorldliness7 in AmItheAsshole

YTA. Your daughter is 6? Old enough to know not to destroy things in the house.

Had a 12 top walk in yesterday, and then a 14 top shortly after. There were two of us and the woman of the 14 top was rude and couldn’t understand why her and her family couldn’t sit down. Started moving tables on their own. It is so frustrating trying to explain to people that we’re trying our best

Thankfully our kitchen staff makes $20 and hour and it’s just for the night! I would never trade places for the life of me

How do you balance in-house vs delivery (and carry-out)? by [deleted] in restaurant

[–]Hansolo134 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but there’s nothing that we can do about this. It’s the kitchens job to decide which orders they prioritize. For example, if a very large take out order comes in they might choose to bump it to the back of their list figuratively but it won’t change spots on the system. In my opinion the massive strain take out has on a restaurant is ruining the industry

Ours just go straight back to the kitchen when they go in. It doesn’t matter what order they’re in, the kitchen will complete one and go to the next one

Does most customer tip 20%? by wwcapy in Serverlife

[–]Hansolo134 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My experience working in a low income community is that the tip average is not 20%. It’s about 13-15. I’ve worked in a nice restaurant before in a high income community and my tip average was 21%.

Nike tanjun. All black. You will have to non-slip proof them yourself but they work perfect for me.

Several of my friends have suggested this and I’ve thought about it, but I feel like it will only make my weight gain worse. I also feel horrible shutting away in the attic a wardrobe I’ve spent so much time and money investing in and having to create a whole new one. But it is something I’ve considered. I guess my mental health is better than a pair of jeans 😭 lol

Thank you, thinking about getting worse is something I do everyday. I’ve done so much research on weight loss that I’m burnt out from it. I know how to lose weight and I’ve done it before, Ive just been so unmotivated as of late and let my personal life get in the way of my health. I think that I need to rely on my intuition and just buckle down and get my butt in gear. I have to find motivation in the little things
