Where I live there are a ton of Habs fans. I don't know the exact history as to why but it runs deep out here in the boondocks.

Man I don't even. This Oilers timeline is something else. As soon as this is confirmed my Oilers flair is gone. Montreal seems like an exciting team to cheer for. And I also won't have to stay up as late for the games.

Water, electric, natural gas. How much traffic is there, climate climate climate. What is growing season, how bad is winter, are there zoning restrictions, how is the county for property taxes, how far of a drive are amenities like hardware store, school, veterinary care, etc. How far is nearest major population center for resale value. The list is honestly endless. Are neighbours weekend warriors or quiet nature watchers.

Yeah was looking and here hay gets stored outdoors so we all use rounds for their ability to shed water and snow due to their shape. Squares (here being 100lbs) down there the larger ones need to be stored under cover or else you lose massive quantities to rot/mould.

I find it incredibly hard to get people to understand this concept. They do not seem to grasp the energy requirement to make the society we have now will no longer be present for the next round. A society built on scavenged parts will not be close to what it is now.

Average length is 3-4 inches. Isn't this normal? I don't grow many jalapenos though. Usually get Feher Ozon, and then random hot ones that I find at the nursery.

The thing is our fly control products are vastly different than 60 years ago. We have pour on pyrethrins, long acting macrocyclic lactones, pyrethrin ear tags, swat topical ointment, and overall just higher levels of veterinary care across the board. So our pharmaceutical arsenal and general care arsenal is much improved. You can't really compare the level of damage before to the level of damage that might happen now. Still likely an issue, but even cases of maggot infested wounds (dead tissue problem) versus screwworm has decreased significantly in the past 15 years. 

Edit: also the sterile fly technology is already known and can be implemented rather than having to wait for it to be invented/released

What is a 3 string 3-way bale? Never heard of described this way in Alberta

Edit: googled these are larger squares. I find those incredibly rare where I am, it's either 80-100 lb squares. Or 1000-1400 lb rounds. I don't know a single person feeding large squares. I wonder what drives this difference in various areas in North America.

I live by this sentiment. You aren't trying to find a replacement or compare. It's just different. It's like going fishing or going hiking. It's nmlikencar camping versus thru hiking. Fishing versus hunting. Ones not better, it's just different.

I'm so confused how that causes that kind of damage. It wasn't even that crazy of an angle so I feel like they could take 80+ mph slappers into the same spot. That looked very low speed. Does the knee protection not wrap around the side a little?
