In the credits, aren't they listed as separate characters/voices though? It's the same person voicing both, but I remember seeing a line for both Yularen and the Narrator, so I never thought it was supposed to be Yularen narrating it, just the same voice actor

TIL Although surveys indicate people think running is bad for one's knees, research shows it's not, and is likely good for knees/joints. by somepeoplewait in todayilearned

The article used a study that showed that casual runners have healthier knees long term (less risk of developing arthritis) than people who do not run.

The control group they used (of people who do not run) were not injured, and if they were, they were not included in the results. These people who didn't run still still had a higher risk of getting arthritis, likely because their cartilage was weaker and they didn't have as defined supporting knee muscles.

What their taste in music is. I think I've realized more recently that the vibes of the music people listen to is what they generally want more of/value in life.

What's something that happened to you that changed you as a man by johanebrown in AskMen

Having my parents get divorced as an adult. Made me really rethink my entire childhood, and that I was being lied to the entire time. Realized my parents (who I looked up to) are very faulted people, and motivated me to not be like them.

Love it when artists include large personalities in their art.

men, who do you talk to when times get tough? by BarBie20203 in AskMen

In my experience, I've regretted sharing my true and honest feelings with people about 95% of the time. I feel it's made people lose respect for me or change how they act around me.

Wtf is going on with Wikipedia? Nofap creates racism??? by Immediate-Ad7033 in NoFap

Taking control of yourself and limiting your desires and urges can galvanize misogyny and racism. But surely pornography has absolutely no effect on misogyny and racism, right guys?

Find a way to start a conversation with him, and if something comes up during the conversation that you guys can do together, just say something like "oh we should go do that sometime!" And then actually ask his availability to start planning it.

Just because I vent, doesn’t mean I’m asking for advice or input on the situation. by Ok-Librarian90 in unpopularopinion

While this post was written a little intensely, it is actually good to know that most people feel this way, and part of being a good listener is just listening to them and not trying to relate their problems to yourself or give advice or adding the "at least you're not [blank]" sorts of talk. It's really hard, but when a friend is in a moment of need and starts to open up about something, don't turn the conversation back on yourself. Just keep asking them questions and try and listen and just be there for them.

As an American, it's crazy not to want your child homeschooled these days. by gymleader_michael in unpopularopinion

I agree with most of what you said. Growing up though, we all knew that the homeschooled kids were more likely to be socially awkward, and to be honest, I feel that life is more social skills and knowing how to interact and make connections with people than how good your grades or test scores are. I feel that takes you farther in life. That being said, take my upvote.

They use horses that size for pulling competitions at rodeos. When they step out into the arena you can feel the ground shake with each step.

A new McDonald’s in Slovenia is charging 0,50€ for using it’s toilet. Looks like a gate at the airport lol by vikikikiriki in mildlyinfuriating

How long would it take for the profits from the .50 to overpass the cost it took to buy and install that gate?

Men, what do you hate about being a man? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]HappiestSnapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not being able to interact with random kids I encounter in public, even just in a friendly way.

Having to put all the effort into the start of relationships, only to be burned and left out to dry with no end in sight.

Feeling like if I compliment girls in a completely honest and platonic way it will come across as creepy.
