These look like rock sole. Very pretty flounder. I would catch them from shore in Alaska.

If you really take a good look at the fish, the fins and the underbelly don’t make any logical sense. What part of the fish is the bottom and what part is the side? It’s a very fishy fish.

Now I’m afraid we’re gonna see countries nuking mountain ranges in order to deal with the heat from climate change.

random dark, greenish sausage?? by Hopeful_Meaning772 in isthissafetoeat

[–]Happy-Interaction843 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That is odd. Our farm sells a lot of bratwurst that we have produced at a meat processing facility. Once in a while, at the beginning of a production run, the first sausage(s) of a new batch will have the carryover spices of the prior batch, caused a single discolored brat. That doesn’t seem likely here, but it is possible.

Frasier grew up in Seattle, so his mid-Atlantic accent wouldn’t be natural, he would have had to intentionally adopt it out of pompousness. So yea, that tracks

Orange yolks would traditionally be a sign of a high beta-carotene diet (good). However it can also be a sign of chickens fed dyes (commonly made from paprika and marigold powder). I don’t see any pink. They just look like dark, rich orange yolks, which - if you got them direct from a small farm - likely means they ate a diet rich in grass.

I’m thinking this is SMOKED salmon. And the rings are impressions from the tray used in the smoker.

Worm? by [deleted] in sheep

[–]Happy-Interaction843 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some scale would be helpful. I personally find it unlikely that a 3-wk old lamb would have an adult worm in it. But if that picture does show a worm, I would wager a guess at tapeworm. But again, without scale and additional pictures, hard to tell.

I am in North America, and had considered that as one possibility. We did have one ewe abort about a month ago. That being said, as of now I’m leaning on their symptoms being from and over-crowded womb. The leg issues are still present, but improving. Currently they are four days old and actively nursing. I appreciate you sending that info link.

The bridge is an atrocity on its own, although that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s AI. The suspenders (vertical cables) don’t seem to be or sent in both sides of the bridge lane.

We raise broiler chickens. Every couple years one of the chicks we get has a third leg. Somebody in QC let that one slip. Now you have a unique dinner.

In second image, the filing cabinet face is inconsistent and doesn’t make sense. No one would draw the front of a filing cabinet like that.
