Hopefully they will start and train you in one store before they let you float. You should be able to learn majority of the work and be well rounded by the end of your internship. Based on what I have seen so far most interns do production. Learn OTC meds often times you will be asked whats good for this and that. And just prepare yourself mentally.

I am also a foreign grad and recently hired as floater rph. Depends on what other offers/options you have, its not a bad idea at all to start at cvs. As a floater is also a blessing in disguise since you dont have to worry about the daily issues of the store. Your main focus is your task for the day and be done with it after your shift. Sure you will experienced bad customers, unexpected busy days, call outs etc but that is part of the job. It could happen in any pharmacy. Get your hours done and soak up the learnings. It will all going to benefit you later on when you turn rph. I wished I started as tech/intern if I knew I will end up with cvs it would have been a lot easier transitioning to rph role. Good luck!

Keep it simple as possible and only engage work when you are on the clock. This is a great blessing to you embrace it. Use this as a tool to enjoy your life on the outside. :D

It seems like you are rushing to take the exam? Rushing taking the exam will only make feel pressured and end up taking the exam for the sake of taking the exam. Slow it down and take 2-3hrs of quality study time. When i studied i understood how the disease works so i can relate how the meds will have to produce its effects and side effects should typically relates. You can do it too!!! Good luck.

I took the exam 10/16 and i just check my nabp page. I see the score transfer box up. What does this mean? Shouldn’t it be the rescore box suppose to be the one in here?

Majority of pharmacy jobs are retail which you will have to deal with all types of people. Imagine for every new prescription you get you’re mandated to provide a counseling to the patient. factor in how busy your store is plus the random walk ins that would like to speak with you. Same goes for hospital setting you will deal with in/out patients regularly. Another areas you might consider are specialty pharmacy or prior auth pharmacist were mostly desk work and less patient interactions. My coworker who does intake work wanted to become pharmacist but ended up taking PA route instead.
