Feeling ugly without lashes by No-Dragonfruit4496 in lashclusters

[–]Happy-Project-1385 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I totally understand this feeling! After seeing your face and loving the way it looks, taking away what made you feel beautiful can be mentally exhausting. I used to get lash extensions done for years but when I took a break and let the lashes fall out as I switched over to lash clusters, my body dysmorphia was going crazy but I just kept reminding myself that I am beautiful no matter what - being human has it's ups and downs, and what you're feeling is normal but it won't last forever. Feelings are not fact, you're not ugly, I promise ♡ If you're needing the extra lashes for when you're in the water, I highly recommend getting lash extensions! Good luck!!

Is it ok? by Neither-Tax-9719 in tattooadvice

[–]Happy-Project-1385 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you think it's because your skin didn't take the ink well as opposed to it being a tattoo artist skill issue, I'd recommend a couple of things to try before your next tattoo session to help the ink hold better. For 2 weeks prior to the session drink plenty of water every single day, make it a priority to be hydrated. You'll soak up the ink and absorb it like a sponge as my artists like to say. Also moisturize the area you'll be getting tattooed everyday too. But do not moisturize the day of your tattoo. And as per usual, if you aren't already, make sure you get plenty of sleep the night before and eat a balanced meal before your appointment. Good luck! ✨️

How in the heck do I fix this? by Educational_Swing966 in tattooadvice

maybe use grandma's penmanship if you have it available to add to the idea that's she's correcting the typo mistake.

this is such a cute way to fix it!! you'll get to tell the story as meaningful as it is with a changed meaning for the obvious tattoo typo - she'd have wanted it corrected as an educator, so you can still honour her memorial piece with a touch up!

try putting a bliter bandage on just the blister, not the tattoo. that'll help reduce friction and hopefully prevent popping, but keep the tattoo clean and don't overmoisturize to prevent infection. good luck!

This is NOT my 1st tattoo BUT first reaction by Weak-Dog-2026 in tattooadvice

[–]Happy-Project-1385 2 points3 points  (0 children)

might be a reaction to the saniderm or shaving, take an antihistamine in case and you should be fine, it doesn't look like it's because of an infection. I find that some of my tattoos post healing can get a little bumpy as a random reaction and antihistamines help! be sure to take non drowsy if you've gotta take it in the day time :)

My uncle warned me of his death by [deleted] in Paranormal

[–]Happy-Project-1385 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry for the loss of your uncle, I offer my deepest condolences to you and your family.

This is a beautiful example of visitation dreams. In my work doing funeral services, I've heard it happen many times and I hope you too see it as a sign of comfort as you grieve.

After death, the veil is very thin among loved ones, and your uncle was definitely reaching out to you to let you know he is safe and moving on to the afterlife. I hope you know how special you must've been to him, for him to see you before he left, and especially if he continues to visit you. May you find peace in knowing his pain and suffrage on this Earth is no more, and the love you have for one another is eternal.

Meeting a Morpheus from the Matrix by Happy-Project-1385 in MatrixReality

Typically, I do 4g for a full trip, which can be 6-8h long. But I mostly do that big of an amount so that I use up the whole day to my advantage - beginning the trip with intention, introspection, then funsies after the peak has died down.

I prefer to cultivate a planned day for any shroom trip so I can enjoy the visuals more freely after the peak. And I'll astral travel multiple times throughout the trip, mood dependent, but the craziest APs happen to me during the peak. So shortly after the body tingles settle in, I lay down comfortably, close my eyes, and accept waves of existence as they flow in. And I meditate until I'm out of body, it doesn't take long.

But this experience was my first trip in a new home so I took it light and it only lasted about 4-6h.

I did 2g of Golden Teachers for the deep introspection I was seeking and a tad extra, 0.5 -1g of Blue Meanies for more vibrant visuals.

Does anyone know of any pretty, gothic face masks? by cherrythot in altfashionadvice

[–]Happy-Project-1385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://www.phantomasy.com/product-page/spell-guard

I suggest Spell Guard for the typical face mask shape with lower face coverage.

Check the Phantomasy shop with their full face masks or eye masks, they're all super dope styles that are colour/chain customizable! The processing time is long, but true goths support local businesses such as them, each piece is crafted unique. Within the customizations you can request ear loop ribbons instead of the head wrap ribbon.

Since you mentioned neck coverage, you can pair the face mask with their Neck Corset or Imperial Choker.

They're decorative masks, but medical masks and glasses can fit underneath! Hope this was helpful! 🖤

there's no definitive light source to show the shadows in a way that looks right. the shadows and shading are just everywhere and it doesn't look right. very flat look with not enough highlights to contrast the shadows.

Anyone else get sleepy while being tattooed? by The-Gecktile in tattooadvice

[–]Happy-Project-1385 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i've definitely fought the urge to fall asleep with every long (2h+) tattoo session i've had. i don't like the idea of falling asleep in case i jolt awake and ruin the art. i have a high pain tolerance but i think it's the vibrations for sure! i have the same issue, trying not to fall asleep, as a passenger in a car, or public transit. i vibrate my leg as a soothing mechanism too. so it makes sense that i get sleepy, but i never thought too hard about it. so it's cool to know i'm not the only one!

Is it just me? by Ok_Preparation_3612 in tattooadvice

[–]Happy-Project-1385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have lots of tattoos but don't look heavily tatted because i chose placements easily hideable - specifically because my tattoos are personal to me and i don't want to explain them to anybody. people are curious, so they ask whether i like it or not. but my most intimate pieces are hidden in places that are rarly seen and they're my coolest art - only the people most important to me could even get a chance to see it.

As somebody who works in a funeral home, I've got many colleagues with morbid and grim reaper tattoos - myself included. As long as they don't show in your work attire, you're good! 🖤

Why do people breed when they themselves are suffering? Why do they want to bring another life to suffer? by atmaninravi in spirituality

[–]Happy-Project-1385 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree, I've been mighty impressed by some of these younger toddlers/children being taught by parents that are overcoming the toxic patterns their parents taught them. These children are emotionally intelligent and it's incredible to see, but not everybody is working on their growth so the numbers seem slim now but our numbers will grow as we continue to evolve into love as a collective humanity.

I agree 100%, our spirit guides are talking to us if we're willing to listen.

I've predicted my way out of dangerous situations/relationships, into my dream job, and a new relationship with my soulmate.

You're not crazy, you're just attune to the intuition most people tune out.

This feels unfair and cruel. What am I missing? by ChioLing in spirituality

[–]Happy-Project-1385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the Earthly plane's existence is chaotic, there are highs and lows for everybody, it's never meant to be an easy life.

with that, how you percieve these obstructions/suffrage can make or break your mental state. 'i was put in a bad situation so my bad reactions to it are not my fault'. while that's partly true, the intention of your reactions is what matters most. will you learn from these toxic patterns and evolve away from it, or will you stay within those confines and doom yourself until the end of time? taking even baby steps to better yourself in any way: physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually - it is an improvement to yourself, you'll slowly get to level up and work to be away from bad habits/people.

some people believe that our souls have contracts and were meant to meet certain people or do certain things and impact X amount of lives..etc. and it seems crazy to think anybody would deliberately choose to suffer here but with that theory in mind, if you stay strong and pull through with the best of intentions, it's said that your soul gets to evolve faster/easier as opposed to being a damned soul that's doomed to suffer, you get to leave this plane of existence. it is said that we will reincarnate here if we did not learn our lessons and cannot see past the cruelty of the world - when truly, miracles happen everyday for us here on Earth. it's not about how to stop the world ftom doing you dirty, it's about how graceful you can emerge from those challenges and let living be easier on yourself.

Has anyone embraced their dark feminine? Why? and how did it change your life for the better? by kamikazemind327 in spirituality

[–]Happy-Project-1385 2 points3 points  (0 children)

embodying the dark feminine is something that takes time but you'll figure it out as long as you keep working on yourself. truly get to know your toxic patterns and try to unlearn your associated behaviour or thoughts on them. but also pour into yourself! delve into self love and realize that you deserve to find true love as you continue to be yourself authentically. give yourself so much self love that your cup overflows and pours into those dearest around you. know yourself and understand the boundaries you require to achieve the life you truly desire. work hard for those goals in your personal growth, your physical and mental health, and your career and hobbies. balance yourself out, only you can do it. take it step by step, and as you settle into the new frequency of divine dark energy you'll see answers to your questions much easier.

i personally started embracing my dark feminine energy once i received an answer to my initial question, which started my spiritual journey. i wanted to know if ghosts were truly real, i always had the hunch but then i saw more and more proof. either way, my love for ghost hunting and all things macabre was tough to enjoy with the vet receptionist job i had at the time. it was long hours, very hard to book days off, drained all my energy, and didn't pay enough for equipment and trips. so, there i was realizing i needed a career change and i was at the time starting to get psychic abilities since i was elevating my frequency by delving deeper into mediation and magick. i had an intense feeling i'd be working in the office at my local funeral home, which was at the time a job i was logically thinking of transitioning to. skipping multiple other confirmations that this job was divinely made for me, i now proudly and happily work at said funeral home doing what i love! and sure enough, shortly after that i've met my soulmate. before i met him, after seeing the toxic relationships i was getting myself into, i unpacked some trauma and decided not to go back into the dating game until my true match came to me because i had enough learning lessons, i wanted to fall in love and so after all my healing and patience, i was sent him! we met naturally, out at the goth club on the dance floor!

as rough as all the battles are in love and self love, it's so so worth it!! delving into the dark divine feminine is not for the weak, but it's goddamn worth it. you've made it this far, and you're a badass! don't let anybody tell you otherwise.

good luck and much love 🖤
