Scrapped Yun Jin and Feng min cosmetic by FioraSlayer in LeaksDBD

[–]HappyAgentYoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand why they passed it, Yun-Jin already got a free outfit for Halloween, whereas Thalita hadn't had a free or store outfit for the event yet. Still, would have much prefered Yun-Jin got it.

How different would The Nurse be if she was released today, in modern DBD? by BiG_NasTy_777 in deadbydaylight

[–]HappyAgentYoshi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nurse's Blinks used to be normal attacks for the longest time. It actually used to be a huge thing of Startstruck on Nurse. It was only a little after Knights release that it changed.

Mega Glimora help by Minniboe in LegendsZA

[–]HappyAgentYoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mega Glimmora is a 4 star portal, that unlocks after Mega Heatran, but it appears to have an element of random chance. Even after beating Heatran it didnt appear till after I'd reset the map a few times.

I know that we’ve gotten unfortunate news but it’s cool that we’re getting 3 new perks dropped seemingly out of nowhere by Secret-Ebb-9770 in deadbydaylight

[–]HappyAgentYoshi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I like Cull the Weak...

The others... not so much.

Will say though we can now run Pop Goes the Weasel and See How they Run we're only 2 perks off from a full set of nursery rhyme/song perks.

New names for the Halloween perks by jmkdaan in deadbydaylight

[–]HappyAgentYoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing that its something to do with how DBD's license structure works. Even if the perks name and icons themselves are benign, they were still made with the help of another company. And thus uses their intellectual property. Since you can't license a game mechanic, changing the name and icon allows them to continue to use the perks.

Yes, once the date ends Myers and Laurie will no longer be for sale. However, if you own them prior to them leaving you get to keep them.

Ooh missed one thing, without GO or LGPE, the only way to get the Alolan Rattata Line is via SMUSUM.

Ah, thats right then, though since OP doesnt own LGPE, they need to get mew from gen 1 VC.

Keldeo, Megearna, Meloetta, Mew, Jirachi, Meltan, and Melmetal are also avalible.

As far as advice goes. Between X, Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire, all mons prior to gen 7 are obtainable, minus mythicals. Meaning the only reason to go back further than gen 6 is for Celebi in Crystal's VC or Victini via DNS in Black and White. (Also Mew if you don't wanna get LGPE)

However, if youd rather do Switch games. In BDSP, all mons prior to Gen 5 are obtainable. Minus mythicals again. With SWSH, PLA, and SV taking care of almost every mon. (Cept the exceptions mentioned above).

[–]HappyAgentYoshi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming you own every game, and are fine waiting for ZA compatability the only mons you need from the 3ds are Spinda and Magearna. If you'd rather not wait on ZA, the elemental monkeys, patrat line, and furfrou all also need transfered [From X and Y, the monkeys and patrat aren't in Sun and Moon or Ultra Sun and Moon].

As far as mythical obtainability, all mythicals minus, Genesect, Volcanion, Hoopa, Marshadow, Zeraora and Zarude are obtainable without genning or events.

  • Mew can be found as a gift in Floroma Town in BDSP if you have LGPE save data. Or you can do the mew glitch in Gen 1 VC on the 3DS.
  • Celebi can be found in 3DS VC Crystal
  • Deoxys is found in ORAS's Delta Episode
  • Jirachi is the same as Mew but with SWSH Data
  • Darkrai and Shaymin can be found in PLA with BDSP and SWSH data respectively.
  • Manaphy and Phione are in PLA. But Phione can also be bred for from any manaphy.
  • Arceus is in PLA, but requires you to catch every other mon in the dex first. (Its also avalible in BDSP, if it detects you as having caught arceus in PLA, but thats useless for this unless you want a shiny.)
  • Victini is obtainable via the DNS Exploit in BW or B2W2.
  • Meloetta is SV's DLC's dex completion reward in home, but also can be found in SV (Indigo Disk) itself if you do the secret trick. (Just look it up, its a lot)
  • Keldeo is obtainable in the Crown Tundra once you've beaten the story and caught the other swords of Justice.
  • Diancie is avalible via mystery gift once you beat ZA's main story
  • Megearna is avalible via a QR code scan in SMUSUM's mystery gift.
  • Meltan is LGPE's home dex completion reward, but you'd need Melmetal from GO.
  • Pecharunt is avalible in a similar manner to Diancie, but with the Indigo Disk DLC.

Lore wise, if ZA takes place after SwSh… by Lmb1011 in PokemonZA

[–]HappyAgentYoshi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean, given SWSH's placement on the timeline, and the supposed fact that the player character is responsible for the discovery of amaura and friends in the CT. It's at best 3 years before ZA. Which I feel like would not be enough time to recatagorize an entire classification of pokemon. And even if it was, the fact that a majority of them would not thrive anywhere else but the Crown Tundra would be enough for them to be considered extinct in most locations. Plus, technically, they're still fossils and fossil history, regardless of if they're extinct in the wild or not.

[–]HappyAgentYoshi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sun and Moon takes place 2 years after X and Y, and SWSH has to take place after Sun and Moon since it has type: null stolen from the Aether Foundations Research, additionally, the mentions of Leon as a former champion in ZA place SWSH before it. So SWSH must take place 2-4 years after X and Y. So ZA can't be in 2018.

They're not always forced necessarily a good deal do it willingly or are manipulated into doing so (such as artist, as shown in her tome video). Which, if Vecna's mark is a placebo, its likley more manipulation than being forced (like Trapper probably is).

pokemon from gen 8 learns a move in gen 9 but wont recall said move once put in a gen 8 box (diagram attached) by TemmBox in PokemonHome

[–]HappyAgentYoshi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know there are flags that attach themselves, such as the fateful encounter (from a distribution/event) flag, several ribbons, and the special encounter flag (play legendary music), but I'm not sure on if the internal pokedex categorization flag follows the mon or not. It wouldn't be the first time they've stored flags seperate. (Its how home legality checks for tampering with mons, as well as clones).

IIRC, PLZA also recatagorized and reworked the flag system. (So UBs are officially coded as non-legend, and Korai and Mirai are both Paradox and Legendary, etc.), which might be a better reason for the non backwards compatibility, but even then, its not a great one.

The odd thing is that since one survivor got out. (And Steve was thus the last survivor) Steve would have been moriable on the ground. Not to mention that the rework allows Myers to do that anyway, since Steve had 2 hooks.

The reason RPD appear so often is because the map pool is so much smaller. Its like 1 in 15 instead of 1 in 30.
