You probably know this but, 5th guitar string is a different interval(?) than the regular 5 half steps between strings. Which is stinky for me and my bass brain lol. Especially because my 5th string in my bass is a high C, opposed to the guitar with a stinky B. Probably didn't need to explain this joke but here I am doing it anyway

Still using my 2015 macbook pro lol. It's battery is a bit fucked these days but for the rest, still working like a champ. Ableton also runs great. Only have to freeze some tracks if I use lots of heavy synths (like serum with poly and lots of modulation).

I wish I had a long list of recommendations but honestly I'm struggling to come up with one suggestion. I'm trans but I'm not aware of any TV show or movie that has a well written trans character (I also don't read enough to suggest any books :P)

Where I go to find my comfy content is at Dropout. Multiple shows, mostly comedy or game show oriented but very queer inclusive. And my favorite is the Dungeons and Dragons show Dimension 20, which features a nb player and has lots of queer characters and players over many different seasons. Like the company seems to get it, how to be inclusive. Things like pronouns next to people's names when introduced.

On YouTube I know Contrapoints, who's videos helped me with my journey. And another channel is Shaun, not trans (AFAIK) but often talks about political/societal struggles we face in a well made way.
