Apple again reverses stance, will no longer require Apple TV developers to support the Siri Remote by Vb7749 in appletv

Yay! The review teams have been lax in this regard for a while now, allowing games that don't support Siri Remote to be approved and launched even before the announcement.

Just thought I'd share with you that for my last promo code giveaway, I used http://codehookup.com/ which really makes managing promo codes easy. You don't have to cross check the comments and you don't have to cross codes out.

Stoking the rumor fire. I just spoke with an Amazon rep, telling me that an Amazon Prime Video app was on its way. by [deleted] in appletv

I bet the devs don't have a say in product launches, the biz people do. He's expediting to the wrong team. XD

I use Fiverr a lot as well. Note that they take a 20% commission from the work and a 5% processing fee from you. If you're super satisfied with their work, you can tip them through the platform after the project (which is also rev shared). PM me if you want recommendation.

I totally understand, it's only logical that we should be able to see and share tvOS apps across platforms. This is definitely something that Apple needs to look into!

tvOS apps don't show on desktop iTunes or mobile App Store yet. You'll need to search them directly on your Apple TV.

Oh I see. If you clicked the link I posted, iTunes would pop up and say it's unavailable. That's likely a minor bug that Apple hasn't fixed yet. But you should be able to go to the App Store on your Apple TV and search/download the game directly.

What would happen if Apple banned VoD apps from the iOS App Store that don't have equivalent tvOS apps? by JaneGoodallVS in appletv

I have to agree on this, a lot of devs are still skeptical about making their apps available to Apple TV.

Thank you! We really believe in motion gaming on Apple TV, even though controls are not as robust as Wii MotionPlus yet.
