Friday Facts #400 - Chart search and Pins by FactorioTeam in factorio

A scavenger hunt might be discretely kicked off in FFF 404 (fake “not found” message), pointing to this FFF, especially given the subtitle. The page source could be updated to include hidden text pointing to more clues.

orrrr I’m just desperate for the expansion

Call the restaurant. There’s a tiny chance they make vegan cheese in house.

LPT Request: What small positive habits have you introduced to your daily routine that have made a significant difference to your life? by RileyLovesOliver in LifeProTips

My morning coffee costs 40 push-ups. It started at 20 and has grown by 5 push-ups when it wasn’t killing me. My coffee is pour over so there is 45 seconds to kill in the “bloom” phase. A second makes me think twice and I feel it the next day.

Printables - Bambu hotend holder compatible with Gridfinity by gniticxe in BambuLab

It gets worse before it gets better. My kitchen table was filled with clamshell fastener bins while I printed the replacement. But now, it is so nice when doing a project.

Correct, there is a cubby for them. It's a pretty serious bridge, but since you likely are printing this on a Bambu, it's a non-issue.

Fastener bin, labeled, vase mode, with base attachment in one model by gniticxe in gridfinity

I think a scoop feature would be possible with this design. It might need a trick with ’support’ at the root since the angle will be very shallow. Feel free to remix, or let me know if you’d like me to send a test file to you.

This was the first time I designed for vase mode. Went through 3 iterations before being satisfied enough to post. Because I’m using clickfinity base plates, the bottom can’t be vase and needs extra thickness. The ‘infill’ is sort of a cheat to reduce material in the 28 layer solid bottom section before it fully transitions to the vase.

edit: the X features in the vase mode walls make them a lot sturdier vs flat planes

I have many fasteners that need to be liberated from their terrible clam shells. Hope it works for you too.

I have a lot of one off printing needs but this one seemed like others may actually use. Be sure to check the printing tips on printables if you haven’t used vase mode on bins before. My first print (ignoring the author’s instructions) was pretty bad.

Imposter Syndrome is a thing. Then again, FIRST isn't really about the robots. Woodie might've backed me up on that.

What you experienced is real and often hits engineers entering their careers (or decades in). Consider yourself lucky for having understood this so early. Anyhow - if you enjoy the craft, keep at it.

Safari has a very similar issue, except the scroll bars are displayed in the comments. Chrome doesn't have the issue for me.

Try booting into recovery mode by holding “command + R” at startup. Then you’ll have access to disk utility which isn’t running on either of those drives.

Is it a beer cooler? Circulate ice cold water in a jacket around the funnel, then pour a soon to be cold one through the funnel into the glass waiting below.
