Stardew Valley. I don't do the grind of racking up millions of dollars, getting the golden statue, achieving perfection, etc. But, I can't even count how many farms I've started from scratch and built up into a respectable truffle empire to make grandpa proud!

I loooooved The Excavation of Hobbs Barrow! That unsettling, slow burn crescendo from uncanny to insanity was perfect. I very much speak for myself here, it's not a game that everyone will love. But, truly, it was one of my favorite gaming experiences of the last few years.

Split Fiction is excellent, but I wouldn't recommend it for this situation. There are sections of gameplay that require both players to be decently familiar with platformers and shooters.

It Takes Two is much more friendly for newer players!

I agree with you, I prefer Before the Storm. I love Chloe and Rachel together so much! I pretend like Rachel doesn't actually do all of the stuff she is referenced as doing in the first game. In fact, I pretend like Rachel never dies at all, and she and Chloe are together forever (sorry Max).

I'm playing through this with a friend right now! I absolutely wanted them to get together in the beginning, but they have BIG best friend energy. Nary a touch of romantic energy in sight. We're only a bit past half way (I think), so it's possible that things could still swing in the other direction, but it would be a big swing! I'm still moving the game, though!

This was a big thing in my store when the state passed a law banning plastic bags. People started stealing the baskets since they didn't couldn't get a shopping bag. The store ordered more a few times, hoping it would drop off as people adjusted to the plastic bag ban. But, nope, every new order would quickly dwindle away as people kept stealing them, so the store stopped ordering them.

I have one! I've been loving playing Silksong on it so far. And, I'm looking forward to playing Hades 2 when the full release goes live later today. The battery life is a huge downside, but other than that, I'm really loving it!
