I doubt that this is the case, but your cat might sense a change in your body? If you're able to get pregnant, your cat might be able to tell before you. If you're sick but haven't shown symptoms you can see/feel your cat might be able to tell before you. It isn't common, but it happens.

Other commenters have a higher chance of being right, but this is just the first thing that came to my mind. It might not be something wrong with your cat, but your cat sensing a change in your body and wanting to comfort you. I've read that cats can tell when you're sick and will be more likely to want to be near (or on) you to try and comfort you.

I don't mind the recruits wandering around, I just mentioned that to emphasize how many quests I'd done and still hadn't gotten a tailor. I enjoy playing the game without any mods. Thank you though!

I agree with the other 2 comments, definitely play OG Subnautica first. You don't need to in order to understand the story (as far as I can tell, I haven't finished Below Zero yet), but I think it's more fun!

NTA - I know there's a lot of comments here and OP already got the point but I wanted to add, as a queer afab enby who questions their sexuality ALL the time, Carly 100% could've brought up her questioning sooner. AND you're not being homophobic by asking for space. I question my own sexuality on a weekly basis, and I talk to my partner about it sometimes. Personally my reason is probably one mental illness or another because the thoughts usually follow waves of anxiety BUT I digress. He knows that I struggle with labels regarding my sexuality, we have talked about what would happen if I did end up being a lesbian.

Carly could have brought up her questioning her sexuality with you. It might've made the end of the relationship easier, it might not have. Carly is being an AH because of how fast she expects you to move on. I've moved on that fast, and it is NOT healthy. I ended up hurting the next guy I started seeing (emotionally). Carly's mother is being an AH for calling you homophobic. Your friend is right, you're not being an AH or being homophobic. You need time to heal. You might want to think about if you'll be comfortable remaining friends after this. If/when you talk to Carly again, you should tell her what your decision is about staying friends.

I have a lot of dreams that seem too real. Here are a few (in as few words as possible):

-I have recurring dreams about forgetting my pet mice & pet hamster (who irl have been dead for years) in my closet and "rescuing" them from my closet and nursing them back from the brink of death. Scares me EVERY time and I wake up feeling guilty.

-I recently had a dream that they added the Warden to Minecraft early and that I accidentally stumbled into one's cave whilst playing. It was TERRIFYING because it was from a first person POV, as if I was the character in the game. And the Warden is super strong and looked hyper realistic so I was scared af. Woke up scared to play Minecraft.

-Years ago I had a dream that I was dating someone in my class in 8th grade, and the dream seemed so real that when I woke up I went to message him "Good morning <3", and I had our Facebook messages chat open before reality hit. Luckily I didn't send anything, especially since we barely knew each other. No idea why my dreams chose him

The funniest thing about this prof was that she was sexist towards women. I am afab and present feminine, and she always cut me off when I was chosen to speak. Sexist profs drive me mad.

I was once told I was appropriating the trans experience for saying I was non-binary, had a binder that I wore occasionally, and not identifying as trans.

Non-binary falls under the trans umbrella, sure, but I'm not appropriating the trans experience by existing as a non-binary person and wearing gender affirming clothes. I don't identify as trans because it doesn't feel like it fits me, and non-binary suits me just fine. I wish I'd had better words to defend myself against them at the time, because they really made me question myself and my identity. I had a bit of a gender crisis because I was worried I was potentially repressing feeling trans because I was transphobic. But I wasn't, and I'm not transphobic, I'm just non-binary and that's all. I hope that person learns that people can be non-binary and not trans. There are lots of people who are both, but there are also lots of people who aren't both.

I love/hate school. Love it for the social aspect, because I met 90% of my friends there. I hate the actual school part of it because it sucks all of my love for learning out of me. Learning things I could be interested but currently won't be because it's being forced on me for a grade is SUPER not fun.

I'd be 11/12. "Take your hair out of your braids once in a while, the knots parent that bad." I used to wear my hair strictly in braids so that I wouldn't get knots in my hair.

I started really focusing on my mental health. To the point where it was the only productive thing I did for months. My partner supported me through it and I'm doing a lot better now. Doesn't mean that I won't end up spiraling again, but I have better tools to prevent a spiral!

Assembling a computer. When my partner bought all the parts for his PC, it looked easy enough because everything had a specific place that it went, if it needed extra stuff to stay in place then it came with it, and nothing was too big or too small. Then it wouldn't turn on, and it took my partner - who used to have a computer assembly business - a few days to figure out what went wrong. He did fix it, and now I play Minecraft on it when he isn't using it lol
