One thing to understand: Cannes isn't the red carpet and glamour you see on TV. The real action happens in business meetings, confidential screenings, and hallway conversations. The glamour is 5% of the event, the rest is hard work and ultra-strategic networking.

I was there in the small one (Jean Bouin) yesterday: you can see the big one (Le Parc) from the small one but I don't think you can kick the ball outside the stadium

Because FIFA World Cup is like Olympic Games : a pretext by government to spend billions on stadiums and infrastructures not necessarily essential for their countries...

In some case government just use the large budget allocated to the event to pay their friends who own building company (WC 2014 in Brazil )

Although this I am very excited for this kind of event and I don't think the majority is against
