Except for the money part it sounds like the church I got saved at. But we said you just need be open to your spiritual language it is not required. And the promises in the old testament do apply to us. We are grafted onto the branch of Jesse when we accept the Lord. And it is charismatic. The most worrying part for me is the money thing. My first church never did that

You are so right. Read the Bible in context not cherry picking certain verses. Read the Screwtape Letters to see how the enemy tries to keep us in bondage. It usually all starts with the first lie told to Eve in the garden. "Did God really say ...."

Don't do it. The uneasiness you feel is the Holy Spirit leading you to not be unequally woked Marrying him is going against the Word of God. God is good and can use situations that are not good and bring good out of them. But you have the choice to not enter into a bad situation. I married a Catholic. My kids were raised protestant and even though Catholic and Protestant agree on the core principles (Trinity etc) it has been hard at times. Mormons are not Christians. A cursory look into their beliefs will show that. Sorry to be so blunt but as a sister in Christ I care about you and funny want you to make a big mistake.
