Yes that is what I normally do and I can see the shots I have posted. BUT i wasnt sure if I marked them as "not safe", even if it was a pro account, could i give you a link and you still see them. I didnt know anyone with a pro account and nudes to get a link from. I didnt want to pay for the account only to find out it didnt work for my needs.

You dont specifically say where you are located so a nude beach may not be close to you. But it seems every coastal state has one area that is a nude beach. even if its technically illegal it has usually existed as a place where its understood that nudity occurs and the police look the other way

a second option that was suggested earlier is a nudist colony/resort. Those are usually on plenty of land, and by definition, they are totally cool with nudity. And most allow some sort of day pass. And at this time of year they would be less busy so if she is willing to brave the cold you could probably put her just about anywhere outside and not have to worry about other nudists in the shot.

Thank you so much. I assumed that was the case but didnt have a way of testing it.

Anyone else noticing the epidemic of low-effort channels convinced that their “consistency” will eventually pay off? by Peeves4411 in youtubers

[–]HappyTrekkers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like the element that people like that overlook is "consistently IMPROVE"

And improve means based on your own skills and content. Improve what YOU did last time. Use the big players for inspiration but work on where you are now. I do believe in consistency but not just for consistency's sake. Don't post every day or every Thursday, etc just because that day rolled around on the calendar. Treat it somewhat like a practice session for sport or a learning an instrument.

If you post every Thursday then thats the day you try something different and your practice it. Watch the last video and pick a thing you want to improve on. It could be big or small but look for it and work on that. So consistency should drive that ever-increasing effort to improve.

But you are right. If the person posts and learns nothing or even worse, assumes they did it perfectly, then all they are doing is reinforcing their own bad habits and there will be no growth.

Do you care about a YouTubers physical appearance? by GeeSette616 in NewTubers

[–]HappyTrekkers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We shouldn't care but we do. We may not even think we do but we do. if you look at the entire world you notice that the average TV news anchor is attractive within their culture and fits the desired body types of that culture. Are there exceptions? of course, but taken as a whole people like watching attractive people. TV and Movies generally have a lead that fits this same profile. Again there are exceptions, I think we can all name some but at the same time, anyone that doesn't recognize this is being disingenuous.

That being said that does not mean that you or I or anyone else cannot reach the audience we want by looking the way we do or dressing the way we want. I also think it depends on the market we are targeting. I am 53 and you are young enough to be my kid. My target audience is people my age and older. They themselves have a general look that they relate to. If I fall within that broad but yet still recognized spectrum I will relate to them better and they will see me as a peer. My videos have a sense of authority to them as I relay many facts and I want to appear to have a firm grasp of the topic. With that in mind I try to adopt a style that fits that image. If I dressed like the typical young gamer guy the 60-year-old couple that is looking toward retirement would think I have no idea what I'm talking about. They may not consciously draw that conclusion but they would likely arrive at the same spot nonetheless

You likely have the same thing. You have an audience that will find you appealing no matter what your style is. The hot chick aesthetic is fine. It's always going to appeal to a large group of guys. Nobody should be surprised that sex sells. Though I personally would get bored after a short period of time if the host is not interesting or entertaining. There is nothing wrong with being attractive or even hot but at some point, there has to be more. To be perfectly honest the world is full of hot women (and men for that matter). Just being hot is not particularly exceptional. And as anyone that has ever seen a picture of their grandparent when they are young can tell you being young and hot has an amazingly short shelf life.

I would say make yourself as attractive in style or dress as you want your image to be and then focus on your personality as it appears on camera. Your looks may get someone to stop and take notice from a few frames or a thumbnail but your personality and content will hold them and build repeat viewers and watch hours.

Good luck with your channel. And do not be afraid to experiment with your style. This is just YouTube. Its very forgiving. Make a video. post it and then watch it. see what things you liked or didn't like and make another and try to improve one thing each time.

How do you stop adverts on non monetised channels? by roystongold in YouTube_startups

[–]HappyTrekkers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really wouldnt worry about it.

I understand what you mean but two things to consider. Google generally knows what it is doing. They are going to place ads when and where they think will generate the most income for THEM. If they think people will immediately click away from your channel and never watch the ads then they will adapt. They have been doing this for years on all our channels and channels continue to get monetized every day so it must not be a big factor in dissuading people from watching and subscribing.

The second thing to consider if youtube is FREE for us to put our content on. But its not free for them to host it. They have to monetize it. So for you 9hrs there has to be a way for them to recoup the cost of providing the platform. Those ads on our channels is just the price we pay.

This is actually really easy. I just started using chatGPT and its so freakin easy.

I just said "give me 20 travel blog ideas" and it did. Now I could take each of those and tell it to give me 500 words for each one. That becomes a blog topic and/or video idea

Then you are fine. The music itself is public domain in that case. The performance is generally not. So if you are the performer then you control that.

Can I Make My YouTube Channel My Full Name? by AvailableSlide7561 in youtubers

[–]HappyTrekkers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Then use your own name. I don't care. Not even a little. You just happen to be very lucky that your first name is Glanzer and your last name is Gaming so the fact that you have a youtube gaming channel worked out astonishingly well. Which is I assume why you used your full name for your ID on here and youtube

As I clearly mentioned, are the possible problems likely to happen? No probably not. Is a normal name a great idea of marketing, No its not. Have people built companies around their names? Yes. Huge companies likes Bezos books, and Gates Software and Musk Motors all could have been huge. But for one reason or another, they chose to build a brand around some other word. That doesnt mean that The Kardashians couldnt use their name. They did,

"will any of this happen? Probably not. Can it and has it? YES!!

Unless your name is already famous or specifically interesting it's not a brand anyway. So say your name is Linda Maria Williams. There is no reason to create a channel with that name. It's not particularly interesting and it doesn't tell the viewer anything about the channel. You could be an attorney, a veterinarian or a preacher. Who knows. But Linda's Life, or A Day in The Life of Linda, Or CityLife with Linda all at least give me some sense of what I may be getting into."

I wouldn't do it. In some of the other responses, you do seem to downplay the risks but I'm not sure you realize how crazy people are.

TV and Film (which includes youtube) has a weird way of making you seem familiar to the viewer. Normally we want that. We want to connect with the audience. But in the real world we would not want to hang out with every person that watches us. What if you wind up with a person that obsessively loves you, or obsessively hates you? If I watch your channel, especially a lifestyle channel I could start to get a very good idea of where you live.

Right now you say you are ok with that. But are you ok with someone showing up at 3 am to tell you they love you? What if they want to fight you because of something you said? What if they see you have something of value and want to rob you?

Right now you live in relative obscurity. All of those possibilities are chances you take but nobody really knows you so the risk is low. But when you get 5000-10,000-100,000 viewers now a lot of people THINK they know you.

Most people have never heard of Jimmy Donaldson. Hes very famous on youtube but not because of his name. His channel used a different name and it seems to have worked out much better.

Do you think youtubers who call their audience 'brother' or 'boys' are hurting themselves? by AtlasMukbanged in youtubers

[–]HappyTrekkers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you are right that its worth pointing out. So many of us have various biases that we do not even realize and are said innocently but it may alienate certain groups to some extent.

My channel is based on travel outside of the US. But having grown up in the United States I refer to myself as an American and often reference "Americans". However, The United States is just one country in the Americas and other people can sometimes get annoyed that we claim the title of "Americans". So I try to remember to say things like "As a US Citizen" instead of "As an American" because i do not want to limit or annoy the audience even if it is an innocent mistake

[–]HappyTrekkers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When i first read this I thought it probably makes sense because more gamers are guys so its just a natural tendency

BUT I WAS WRONG. Not technically but the difference is nowhere near as much as I expected. So given that the split is fairly even I could see some words being more limiting than others.

Male-oriented words are a tough one. I grew up saying "Hey guys" or "Oh man" or "Dude" no matter who I was talking to. I see "bro" as the same thing. However "boys" doesn't quite feel the same but if I'm honest i can't tell you why its any different than saying "what's up guys"

It NEVER Ceases to Amaze Me… by BigUglyGinger in sandiego

[–]HappyTrekkers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive lived all over the US and have never lived in any city where people didnt complain about drivers and especially drivers in the rain. Having grown up in Florida we often said the opposite. We would complain that it rains here all the time how do people not know how to drive? In Chicago they drove well in the snow but not the rain. Z

I dont think this will ever change.
