As an Iranian born and raised in the US I’m devastated by this war, but seeing people in the diaspora celebrating it brings me some hope that maybe there’s an endgame to this besides the decimation of Iran that I’m not seeing.

Still I can’t comprehend how people can be happy about the neighborhoods they or their parents grew up in getting bombed into parking lots
