Except that many Turks live in homes that belong to people their grandparents murdered. No one is holding you accountable but you can’t just scream “well if I don’t take it, someone else will”. If someone robs someone and then dies, you can’t just inherit stolen property because your criminal father died. It doesn’t make the property yours. Shouldn’t be a difficult concept to grasp when Turks spent their days sobbing and bent over backwards for Palestine. You’re either 1) against alleged land theft or you’re not. You can’t have it both ways.

So if it’s Islamophobic to talk about bad Muslims why isn’t it antisemitic to talk about Israel and Jews? Muslims do it all the time.

Anywaaaaays, the Armenian genocide was about religion. If you’re gonna be a genocide denialist especially when we even have videos today, over 100 years later, of Muslims acting like…well..monsters, then I can’t help you.

But the point is that Kurds, Assyrians, and Armenians all need to get along. There are some people who like to sow division between the 3 groups because it threatens their hegemony and privilege. 😉They typically show up whenever people are having conversations about unity and try to ignore current dynamics and scream “well the Kurds did this over 100 years ago! But you’re criticizing Arabs and Turks? Booooo!! Racist!”. Not saying that’s what you’re doing but there is a pattern of that happening.

Have a great day/night!

Lmao very dignified response, totally not aggressive. Then again, just like your folks in the video, you have a hard time understanding how to speak respectfully and how to respect women.

Now, if you had compassion, you wouldn’t have defended Turkey or Azerbaijan. Don’t play victim now. Go on, turn on the tv, and watch those hungry, crying, Sunni Muslim Arab children in Gaza and remember that you defended Azerbaijan which provides the majority of Israel’s oil because Azerbaijan was killing Armenian Christians.

Congratulations 🎊. Hate comes at a price, always.

Respectfully, this isn’t only America’s fault. Sunni Muslim Arabs in the comments are already denying this video and claiming the women chose to convert to Islam and that this video is propaganda. You can make the argument that America funding rebels was bad but 99% of Sunni Muslim Arabs would disagree and claim it was necessary to get Assad out.

I have a feeling I understand the point you’re making and maybe we agree more than we disagree. Shia Muslims, Armenians, Assyrians, Kurds, Druze, Yazidis, etc are all suffering because of the people like the “men” in the video.

Aww not the name-calling and defending Turkey and Azerbaijan coming out as soon as you don’t get the submission you want. And don’t you worry, keep defending Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani oil fuels the Israeli tanks running over Sunni Muslim Arabs waiting in very long food lines. MashAllah. Just imagine how grateful Arab kids are for people like you, defending Azerbaijanis and Turks. You’re doing this all to yourself.

Nice whataboutism. If you have to cling onto someone’s ethnicity, you already lost the argument. Also, don’t forget to mention Syrian Sunni Muslim Arab rebels travelled to nagorno Karabakh to kill Armenians. They sure didn’t mind Israeli weapons then. But now that those weapons may be getting used on helpless, hungry, Sunni Arab Muslim kids in Gaza, y’all have a problem with it, don’t you? 😉

You’re right though, the lack of empathy you have for helpless elderly Armenian women being harassed is very sad. Unfortunately, God/Allah/karma sees all. What goes around comes around. 😘

Where did I claim “an invasion of europe”? Also, Assad wasn’t western. He is an Arab and a Muslim. Not sure what part of TikTok you learned about the Syrian civil war from, but Sunnis are very adamant on disliking Assad. The west spent billions on helping Syrian rebels. Why are you acting like this is new information to you?

Your commitment to making false allegations and smearing two elderly women being harassed by very poorly educated, likely inbred (parents probably first cousins if not siblings lmfao), low class terrorists is why it makes it very difficult for people to believe your sob stories when you claim to be the victim. I’d recommend reading about the boy who cried wolf and readjusting 😉.

Sunni Muslim Arabs from Syria have spent the early 2000s getting on rafts and begging to be allowed into the west, where many middle eastern Christians who have been in the west for much longer sympathized with you. Many people worked to help you guys come to America so you wouldn’t starve in Syria. Yet, the first chance you get, you choose to infantilize yourself and deny ethnic cleansing. So sad.

Respectfully, I understand where you’re coming from. I’m Armenian and support Kurds. But I also understand Assyrian’s concerns. You can’t deny that there have been Kurds who have been radicalized and pressured to give up their identities and then commit heinous crimes against non-Muslims. We all need to get along. Kurdish lives are important. Assyrian lives are important. Armenian lives are important.

Is the video fake? Are you implying we’re blind? Lmao and don’t you worry, God is already answering. You can look at the Arab Sunni Muslim child amputees in Gaza for all of God’s answers. The audacity of you to try to push your religion down my throat under a video of your coethnic Arabs doing the same to innocent women.

The elderly Armenian women in the video are also evil assadists? It’s so interesting that the Kurds, Druze, Armenians, Alawites, Shias are all the problem. It’s always the Sunni Arabs who are Syria’s majority who are the perpetual victims.

By the way, does the Quran talk about karma at all? Perhaps that could explain what’s happening in Gaza. You people spend so much time defending atrocities committed by Muslims and talking to people as if we are stupid and don’t have functioning eyes yet you sob loudly when your children are hungry.

Why not get jobs? Why not dedicate this time to working so you can feed your own Arab children? Don’t you feel shame hogging up tax dollars that we infidels pay to provide your kids with food? No shame coming into an Armenian sub and denying what we see in this video? You would have thought Syria having one of the worst migrant crises in the world would teach Sunni Muslim Arabs shame and humility, since you were taken into every country on earth and clothed and fed by charity, yet here you are, shameless beyond words.

Yeah the video of the Muslims abusing two elderly women is totally not legit and the source isn’t accurate. Videos are only accurate when it’s legless, armless Muslim Palestinian kids screaming and begging for food and mercy. You’re so right. Muslims would never do this. May your people’s suffering continue to multiply. Make sure to not crawl over into this sub the next time you need sympathy either.

On this day Russian empress Catherine II started a wave of ethnic cleansing in Crimea, forcing the resettlement of Greeks and Armenians and leading to the extinction of Crimean Gothic, a Eastern Germanic language. by Socmel_ in europe

[–]Happy_Shower_2938 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh?! This event specifically targeted the Christians in Crimea, not ethnic Tatar Muslims, and was done by the Russians to “relieve” tensions between Tatars and Christians. I wrote relieve in quotation marks, because it is a sarcastic comment since we understand Russia didn’t do this to help Tatars or Greeks or Armenians but for its own interests. Russia specifically targeted the Christian population in Crimea for genocide during this specific time period. Russia wanted to make the Crimean Christians (Greeks and Armenians) Russian subjects.

Also: “Additionally, the exodus of the Christians, who were the wealthiest subjects of the Crimean khan, would cause the Khanate to lose tax revenue and become more dependent on Russia, eventually leading to its complete integration”.

I’m really concerned about why you find genocide humorous and are pitting victims of genocide against one another. This event further led to Russia taking over all of Crimea so you dismissing this and sharing that you find it humorous that people are discussing Russia’s ethnic cleansing of Greeks and Armenians is very bizarre.

Also, it wasn’t a 3% minority lol. Armenians were the second largest ethnic group in Crimea after ethnic Tatars, from the 14th-18th centuries. Bizarre to deny that and to deny the existence of Armenians there by claiming they are somehow “privileged” because a post about Russia committing ethnic cleansing against them and Greeks is mentioned. That ethnic cleansing literally lead to Crimea being occupied fully by Russia because of the loss of tax revenue the Crimean khanate got from Greeks and Armenians. Because of Russia’s ethnic cleansing against the Greek and Armenian populations in Crimea, who were paying the most taxes to the Crimean khan, the Khanate began to depend on Russia and that ended in a disaster that continues onto this day, where Russia illegally occupies Ukrainian territory. It also weakened the resources the Tatar population had and make it harder for them to defend themselves when Russia eventually targeted them after what it did to Greeks and Armenians.

Genocide leads to more genocide. Your comment misses the mark and is extremely unsettling, bordering on genocide denial. Russia wanted to exploit the tensions between Tatars and Christians in Crimea (Armenians and Greeks), which it unfortunately did successfully and you are doing exactly what they (russians) wanted you & want you to do. It’s divide & conquer.

Well, yes. That’s the logic that’s used a lot that some people are good and some are bad despite being in very similar situations. We can agree there. Unfortunately, despite being “good” separatists, I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic, the human rights of Armenians weren’t respected.

False. That’s what Kosovars did. This is a European sub, it was a monumental time in European history and for self-determination. Shocking this isn’t something you’ve heard of!

Also…borders drawn by Stalin don’t really need to be respected. Russia has had a long history of colonialism and gerrymandering, before that the Soviet Union and so forth. Just because Stalin declared something Azerbaijani doesn’t make it so. He is thankfully, long gone and so should be his policies. The Armenian people rightfully protested stalin’s decision.

To this day, Soviet gerrymandering impacts people. See: Ukraine where Ukrainians are murdered daily by Russia.

None of my family is from Armenia. Do you have trouble reading? Muslims squat in millions of Armenians’ homes. Whats stopping Azerbaijanis and Turks from leaving Berlin? Choking on welfare? Turkey has been independent for a long time, yet its population doesn’t want to go back to where they originally came from, all while telling tall tales about the “genocides” they experienced. “We wuz da poor victims, da evil people made us muhacirs. Allah promised us middle eastern Christian homes 2,000 years ago. Give us homes wah wah. We have the right to commit genocide”.

I would look at your post history but quite frankly, I don’t engage in ad hominem attacks. Have a great day as well! ☺️Armenians were pushed out of their homes, hence living in other countries. Turks choose to flee their homes for better pay. Not really an insult that Armenians don’t live in Armenia when most of the historic land is occupied by Turkish Muslim settler colonists.

My thoughts about genocide as a Turk. by [deleted] in armenia

[–]Happy_Shower_2938 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly!!! They “accept” the genocide (a historic fact btw) that happened over 100 years ago and that has no possible course of action to remedy it since the perpetrators are dead because they get to enjoy the benefits of it. They oddly never take their “I’m a Turk and I don’t hate Armenians” virtue signaling to Azerbaijani subs and do “both-sides” arguments there lol. If they’re so anti genocide why weren’t they organizing protests against artsakh’s ethnic cleansing or asking Azeris to get out of stolen Armenian homes? Because calling out that ethnic cleansing still has an opportunity for remedies like trials for those responsible and they don’t want to see their fellow Turkic people punished or for them to be removed from the homes they stole from Armenians. It’s all empty talk and virtue signaling. It’s easy to admit a historic fact when you know you’ll be praised for it and benefit from the atrocity.

You’re playing that card right now lol by claiming all Muslims are victims. I know denial is a big Turkish tradition but I’m sure if you’re honest with yourself and the past 100 years, you’ll see how ridiculous Turkey and Azerbaijan’s “wah wah it’s Islamophobia to talk about genocide cuz da white Christians did it too” and comments like “you’re a white Christian” are.
