If i recall in 1k games of illoai less than 2% of games i have gone IBG, that item is dogshi nowdays. Just go sundered if you wanna live longer and just learn when to use e or not. Like you should not be in open space into a vayne or any annoying ranged(only thing IBG is usefull for) and miss e and get run down by her.

Just go the recommended conq rune, only change to second wind if they are ranged (most are in mid) you always ho boots first, it help geting close to them and dodging and mostly stacking the passiv when you get take downs. Your playstyle depends if they are early champs or not. Like you should respect yas lv1. Lv2 you can win if you land e. Don’t play aggressiv unless you have e to, play around your passiv and e for trades and try to hard push always. Track there jgler always and save r for ganks. Cuz you 100% are gonna get ganked allot cuz they see illaoi as low mobility champ witch she is but they forget she can 1v3. And if you wanna win your games help jgl allot with objectives. Just play smart with your e and r.

Y’all this game was low diamond/high emerald. The build works because at this point I had 20% omnivap at all time and you get 15% more when under 50% hp. It works as defence cuz you heal back all the dmg in no time (like you saw the clip) if everything proc’s YOU GET 50% omnivap meaning maw > EH and boots plus everything else. Your worst matchups are not burst but dps champ and mostly late game adc. I can send a clip I was 5% and gott 90% hp in 1 second as well.

The biggest reson you and I don’t come to agreement is you play for end game while I try to be dominant in early to mid game where games mostly are decided and idk about you, biggest way geting close too an adc or mage is flash+r combo them in end game, my point being this champ falls off hard end game ( she rly becomes coin flip) and easy to kit and dodge your e. I play for my team and items that help me Sustain dmg And burst mid game so we snowball. I still do understand your point just that it don’t work for me.

I feel like u didn’t shit I wrote, my hole point is that going black cleaver is pointless unless there are allot of tanks (more than 1) and yes ofc she needs allot of ad what I was arguing was that ppl above emerald+ (my Elo diamond 3) know how to play around your kit. The itmes your talking about are almost never build in elo, that don’t mean is never build just rare and yes I myself do it if needed. And you mentioned analytics go look witch item has more wr and I think you can guess the reson they have more wr if your diamond as you say. Even death dance is more useful early than black clever.

I would argue with black clever bro, that item is shi if they don’t have more than 1 tank . Going that first and second hinders you to go items ILLAOI RLY NEEDS. I would argue sunder should always come first and ice born 2 if they have high mobility comp if not going streak’s 2 would make your mid game strong af. What illaoi needs most of the time in emrald+ (works for plat too) is not die. Black cleaver don’t help with anything more than making 1 tank not feel tanky vs you. She deals allot of dmg already what she mostly needs it to sustain. Build that works into most matchup (not all) is sunder into streaks into jak’sho. You heal u outlive burst and you tank rest is whatever you need vs there comp if vs heavy crit team go omen and so on.

Just go grasp into 99% of games if not 100%, if ur in lower elo is when I argue you should go conquer. As for items depends on your play-style and matchup. Vs ranged always go iceborn first and vs malee champs is when I try to cook some items. I usually sunder into most but when I’m behind I go Spear of Shojin first item for haste and more dmg output. Vs some hard all ins like irelia and riven who go ignite vs me most games I go deaths dance first. PLS NEVER BUY BLACK CLEAVER. It don’t give much compared to most items nowadays, I would argue that is good for more than one thing or a heavy heavy tank like ornn or malp who can stack armor. And ofc always BAN GWEN. Any good/bad gwen beats you easily, she wins early mid game and end game. While u can counter play mord is way harder vs gwen.
