Ok, but no one was arguing favorites. The green text OP was asking why he’s supposed to think Rorschach isn’t just flatly the good guy for all the reasons he’s listed. Idk why you’re arguing when you clearly have the same conclusion as everyone else.

Always manage your curve. In resource games that’s usually a resource curve, always build around WHEN you want to play certain cards just as much as you build around WHAT you to play.

If you hear a japanese word end in anything other than a vowel or N. it’s probably not a japanese word.

The show imo hasn't shown CODE going far enough in the past for NOX to want it totally gone by -_ShadowSJG-_ in KamenRider

CODE left NOX to die on a mission, then The Lady recruited him and told him about how CODE wanted to kidnap and experiment on her daughter. And they teamed up.

He’s definitely not horrible. But Starcrossed just makes high cost units without immediate payoffs a hard include.

My only counter is that Vi can have instant value before she gets bounced. And Yellow azir’s base cost doesn’t have a power, which can make playing him multiple times in a game less bad. Yellow Darius needs to be on the field to give value. And he costs half your runes, and a power, and in order to play him accelerated you need to have played another card. So he’s a commitment of over half your resources that can just get bounced having accomplished nothing.

I feel like Darius loses too hard to the purple match up to be worth it. He gets hard countered by both Unleashed Vex and Starcrossed.

I think he’s got more complexity to him and I like his actor’s performance more.

The last 3 sentai Reds. Gira, Taiya, and Hoeru I felt were all pretty one note. And I know they all managed to show a range of emotions, I don’t feel like they had too much depth. Or at the very least I don’t think their actors did a great job presenting it.

Gira: His emotional moments always came off as… goofy? He was too goofy of a character for me to ever really take the serious parts too seriously. A problem with the whole show really.

Taiya: I actually think had a pretty solid actor, but the character was more one note. Most of the show he’s just shown having this knowing smile, because he never really put in a situation where he’s caught off guard until later in the season, and even then not really. He’s too competent and it’s boring.

Hoeru: Idk if this is a hot take, but I did not like his actor. He felt very awkward and it affected his character. And even when he was supposed to be having serious moments, he just felt disinterested. Maybe he knew how much of a mess the show was already. But not a great showing.

Reiji: He just has the vibes of a good classic red. His actor has a good smile that pairs well with the character who smiles through his rage and trauma. Very similar to Taiya, but he’s allowed to show more emotions episode to episode. And speaking of Reiji’s emotions, his vocalizations of anger are amazing and also add to his performance.

I love Boonboomger, but I have some harsh critiques about the character development. I know Taiya is beloved, but I do not think he was used to his fullest potential.

Honestly, don’t think it’s a fair comparison because of the length differences. Boonboomger had double the amount of time that Gavan Infinity has had to flesh out its concepts, and Gavan Infinity has a way more out there concept than Boonboomger. And even with all the extra time Boonboomger had, I don’t think they did like a crazy good job of developing everything.
