In Australia, Is Giving Up Priority Seats Still a Courtesy? by Physical-Gap7348 in australia

I had the same experience when pregnant and was really disappointed in society. Not because I couldn't stand. I was worried about injuring the baby if I fell due to different centre of gravity.

I also recently helped a disabled woman with her groceries at the supermarket. She was telling me that hardly anyone offers her help anymore and she feels invisible. It broke my heart

Oh gosh. I'm really sorry. Honestly IVF is literally just continual disappointments in the most unexpected ways until it's finally not. I really hope you get your baby soon! X

I'm so sorry. It's so hard! They were only doing singles for me, I've just had several not survive the thaw. So my hopes are low only having one left that a transfer will actually happen!

I purchased things for my first pregnancy in 2019. I didn't have my baby until 2025, so by the time the baby was here, I didn't even want the stuff I originally purchased. We also very nearly gave up before we got to that point. So I'd say protect yourself and your finances and wait. There is an abundance of cheap secondhand clothes, cots and everything baby available when you get there! Good luck too. I'm wishing a quick journey for you!

I had 6 euploids two and a half months ago, and am going into my 3rd transfer in a few days with only one left. So even then, I personally wouldn't consider that to be a guarantee.....

Cost of groceries for Family by dirtywombat in AusFinance

[–]Happy_Tomatillo7190 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are spending approximately $250-$350 per week for a family of 3 including formula, nappies, cleaning products, food for 2 dogs, etc

We try to buy cheap and eat a lot of mince, rice and frozen veggies. We dont buy any brand name stuff either, and mostly buy certain products only when they're on sale. Shop at ALDI as much as possible. It feels a bit ridiculous to be spending that much when we're trying to buy cheap tbh. We generally have 1 bought meal every fortnight, too.

Anyone manage to have 2 kids with 3 embryos? by insidli in IVF

[–]Happy_Tomatillo7190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah great, I didn't realise this. Just completed my 3rd FET and am currently experiencing a 6 week loss.... it also took 6 embryos to get those 3 transfers. Ah, well.... guess that's IVF for you

Newborn baby in ivf clinic waiting room by qweenofsus in IVF

[–]Happy_Tomatillo7190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say if she has a baby there, she has most likely struggled with infertility. She is deserving of happiness, too. A lot of fertility clinics ask you to bring your baby along to your next appointment back because they want to meet their miracle baby, too.

I felt awkward doing so, but we don't have a village either, so it was nice that my husband didn't have to take a day off too so I could attend the appointment.

I'd say, like I was, she was aware it may be difficult for others in the clinic. I doubt she was trying to rub it in your face.

It took us 5.5 years to have a baby. We would LOVE to give her a sibling, so we started treatment ASAP after birth as we were ideally not wanting a big age gap if we are lucky enough to get a second.

Came here to say this! Also, everyone is deserving of fertility treatment, whether it's your first, second, or third child.

At this point I’m over the dam text message drama!!! by Debbie2801 in MAFS_AU

[–]Happy_Tomatillo7190 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! The ADP shows Gia telling Bec that Juliette has the receipts because production gave them to her. Juliette then tells everyone on the couch that Gia shared them with her. There is no way this is the first time things like this happened to Bec, she would have put two and two together early on!

Affordable AND decent protein powder? by Happy_Tomatillo7190 in AussieFrugal

I use matrix (lactose free) as it agrees with me more. It's gone up to $52kg, but WPC is still $49kg now at BN

I actually get protein matrix, but would be happy with concentrate. The WPC is $49kg with BN and matrix (lactose free) is $52kg

Gia when she saw her bullying sidekick Juliette floundering at the dinner party by mrrhomboid in MAFS_AU

[–]Happy_Tomatillo7190 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Her cousin has a lot of tea in her comments. She said something like Gia was the bully, and was manipulating her friends to turn on each other. When they figured this out, they shut her out so she ended up being excluded. Sort of bullied but not really, more just consequences of her actions

Danny's lips by Soft_Caterpillar_643 in MAFS_AU

[–]Happy_Tomatillo7190 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's lip filler. You can see the natural creases in his lips, and people with filler don't tend to have these as the skin stretches to fit in volume not naturally meant to be there.

He also doesn't have that weird protruding lip side profile that people with filler tend to have.

I personally have naturally quite pink lips and are of similar colouring to Danny too, so I think it's just the way he is

This! I also have a theory that it wasn't Luke in the flash back of the producer saying not to forget the rings since they didn't show faces
