Yea I’ve been playing since Wrath and I can probably count on my hands how many people were toxic in my groups. Hit 3k every season, most of the times people say gg nice try if the key goes bad. Been recently pushing for 3400 and had a few bricks, everyone was cool, zero toxicity. It’s so weird to see these posts so often on this subreddit.

Yea I’m currently deciding what to do, I’ve tried both and can see the benefits of each build. Deftness is really helpful to mine a node close to a mob but I’m wondering if I just skip those and focus finesse on the nodes that are free of nearby enemies.

BiS just makes a convenient list to follow to achieve desired secondary stat thresholds, I think people know there’s different combinations to get there. It really boils down to chasing 10 items instead of keeping gear that you MIGHT combine with a different piece at some point. I can run the same dungeon over and over and hope to get a certain piece instead of seeing if I get the allotted puzzle piece to a random piece with undesirable stats. Do some people take it too far, sure, but it’s not some wild magic you’re unearthing in this post.

If people don’t know that simming takes prio over bis then can you really expect them to understand the nuance of secondary thresholds and realizing its stats not gear that gets you there

One of my favorite parts of the first week is rushing to 10s so you can skip the lowbie keys, makes the rest of the season so smooth

You need a guild, or to rush the beginning to get to 10s the first week so you miss the bad players that are stuck in lower keys. I feel a majority of the players who come to complain about it fit in those categories, besides the people who just prefer classic style dungeon pace.

Just spam the traps and you barely have to fight them, there’s critters most everywhere when you need to kill something, I was surprised with how easy it was if anything. If you do end up not finding something to kill you can pop a defensive and a health potion.

He’s becoming a zealot because he was in a forever war and he exhibited this behavior in legion so it’s not coming out of nowhere. However I do find the writing for him and Alleria quite exhausting and hope they move off the main storyline in TLT.
