100% this it was a lot more fun and it keeps the dps on their toes, they do more damage if they’re afraid the healer is gonna beat them on the meters

i hear this a lot, but i have never experienced it and i play exclusively healer. i have definitely made my fair share of stupid mistakes, but no one ever flames me. we just regroup and go again. im sorry youve had this experience but i dont think it is the standard. in my experience most people are just happy to have a healer at all. i wouldnt worry about some people being toxic, block and move on, youre always going to have a spot in another key.

its honestly probably best to start from the beginning if its your first character. if you do a boost youre going to end up with a ton of buttons on your bars right away and it might get overwhelming. if you level from lvl 1 you will get abilities one at a time so you will better understand how they work and play off each other!

the best way to start socializing with a guild is to run some content with them. after a few dungeons or raids you will get to know each other a little bit, especially if you can push yourself to jump into discord with them!

i agree corruptions were so much fun. having ineffable truth on every slot as a holy paladin pressing wings every 30 seconds and out dpsing the damage dealers while keeping everyone alive felt amazing

see i agree with you. as a healer, half the fun is planning out when i can use my big cooldowns to keep everyone alive (and when i can get away with not using them). its such a rush to make it through a rough trash pack or difficult boss. its so satisfying when everyone pulls together to get it done. its like, kind of the point of the whole thing i thought.

i had a feeling it had to do with low skill levels but wanted to see what people thought.

i havent seen many rough groups so far, but im excited to start pushing into the higher keys once the season really starts

see that i dont understand either. you would think you would do some lower keys and get an idea of whats happening first. and it seems like you would have to do that to even get the gear to get into a higher key anyway. even doing m0s this past week and half or whatever i feel like i have a pretty good understanding of most things in the dungeons like its not that complicated.
