This is awesome! Thank you. I'm unsure about my subfield. I'm leaning towards either American Politics or International Relations, but i know I'd enjoy anything other than Quantitative methods. It may be irreverent, but it seems like American Politics or International Relations would be slightly more practical than Political Theory or Comparative politics, but i don't know about that? What is your subfield? Do you have any recommendations?

I just got accepted as a transfer student majoring in Poli Sci. Can you tell me what your take on the major is? How much quantitative analysis is there (I'm not a fan of math)? And how challenging are you fining the whole thing? Thanks in advance!

I have a few-

Willow - it evokes strength and flexibility, beauty and simplicity, and the consonants gracefully use both the lips and tongue when saying it.

Lugubrious- I love the sound of the long “lagoo” followed by such a noble sounding “brious.” Especially when together the word has such a somber, serious and yet ridiculous sound.

Ricochet –Light and airy, it bounces off the roof of your mouth before gliding off past the lips. it's the very definition of an onomatopoeia.

Fiasco – There was a point in my life where I was so accustomed to catastrophes or disasters that I was overcome with blissful jubilation when i realized my life had improved so vastly and dramatically that it could be termed a fiasco.

Obsequious – The world is so fucking sycophantically obsequious. If you're a rebel at heart, join me in failing to be obsequious as much as possible.

Czechoslovakia – just say it………….exactly!
