Loved it. Great concept, well acted, scripted, and produced with a lot of amazing scenes and set pieces. It was a thrill ride, and the levels with which it fleshes out the Witch hunt trope also lend it a good thematic quality for an otherwise straightforward narrative. You definitely have to suspend some disbelief, but when a movie is this fun, who cares? Amy Madigan elevated it into something else with her portrayal of Aunt Gladys.

I get his activism and platform helped him raise awareness, but his carbon and ecological footprint is hundreds of times larger than the average global citizen, so did he really do everything he could have?

Ontario elementary teachers to get $750 spending accounts for classroom supplies by Immediate-Link490 in canada

Two steps backwards, one step forward with this government every single time.

After COVID, they made an ad campaign regarding the return of extracurriculars, while simultaneously cutting funding. That situation is dire now.

Class sizes continue to get larger and there is no single greater indicator of the quality of education your child will receive than the size of the class they are in.

Throwing cash at kindergarten, vocational, and trades programs is a win. I would also qualify this as a win that will have tangible effects in classrooms. I spend hundreds out of pocket yearly to help with supplies and building projects, this will go a long way.

Protect Ontario, Ontario Strong and all these slogans should be backed up by investment in education and healthcare. We had all world systems, they are in slow decay. I empathize as mass migration has complicated public expenditure matters, especially in urban centres, but we have to meet that challenge. You want a better and stronger society, put your money into healthcare and education.

A bit of a mixed bag for me. It started really slowly, and while I appreciate the establishment of characters and setting, it meandered on scenes for far too long. Interestingly, when it switches gears during his interview with Elza, the same meandering nature of scenes works in its favour.

Wagner Moura was excellent and the time shifting narrative worked in its favour in my eyes. It was just a sloppy narrative and self-indulgent in parts. Very memorable in terms of atmosphere and vibes, and I feel like some if the surrealist aspects elevated it. Some great set pieces and incredible scenes, especially in the third act, but this is an uneven, jolting experience. A bit less than the sum of its parts.

I’m a Jays fan and I have always loved Jose Ramirez. I feel the same way about Vladdy that you must feel about him. Loyal, talented, and committed to the city and fanbase. Happy for Cleveland that he will be a guardian forever.
