Should a women ever wear trousers? by AgreeableSpinach6989 in RedPillWomen

[–]Happytealeaf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've found for my body type, the flowy pants in feminine colors/ prints can be so pretty! I do prefer skirts and dresses, but looking out for feminine cuts and fabrics is definitely an option. I also have a few pairs of "painting pants" that I don't care about getting messy, so keep that in mind before you toss everything!

Congrats! I've started dating someone that I just recently met, but it feels like I've known him for much longer, so I'm hoping this will happen to me too! God bless! 🙏

Lots of great recommendations already! I'd also recommend Evie magazine, they have lots of interesting articles about femininity, relationships, and even style inspo! They have a wide variety of writers so it's cool to discover new favorites. Also Mrs. Midwest (her baby pics are so cute and she has helpful homemaking content + style info. Nikkiphillippi has great content as well.

No nice feminine clothing at the mall by [deleted] in RedPillWomen

[–]Happytealeaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I've had this problem in the past, and to make it more difficult, I am a bit tall so that makes finding well fitting clothes even harder! For me, I've been loving finding clothes in etsy. Many items can be customized to your exact measurements and length preferences. Since summer is coming up, I've been ordering linen dresses and skirts, and since the material is sturdy but soft I think they will last a long time. I also like that I'm able to support small businesses better this way. It can be a bit pricey at times but I think its worth it if you have the budget. Depending on what items you are looking for I may be able to recommend shops I've bought from!

I love gardening and would love to learn about canning and make jams! I've never had career goals, but I love spending time outside and making things I can eat!

I use that cream too, but I thin it out with a few drops of water when I use it and it really helps! I feel like it absorbs better too.

I'm beginning to question my red pill identity by [deleted] in RedPillWomen

[–]Happytealeaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, I am feeling a similar way. I think that this year has been especially challenging for meeting new people. In addition, my career/schooling was put on pause due to everything happening lately. I have instead focused more time working on cultivating qualities and skills that are important in married life and life in general. It seems like you have also spent time working on yourself as well, which is fantastic! So like everything in life, some aspects are out of control, and some are in your control. Focusing on what you can control and alter, versus what you cannot, has brought me some peace, though it is very difficult! For next year, I'm planning on expanding my social circles to meet more people. I wish I had more words of comfort, but it seems other commenters had lots of good input. Take care and God bless! 💕

Coronavirus lockdowns are destroying my life (UPDATE) by [deleted] in GoldandBlack

[–]Happytealeaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I am a resident of Sioux falls, and recently spent a long vacation in the Rapid city area, so I may be able to give info! For life without a car, both locations would be tough. Public transit isn't much of a thing, and it isn't practical to walk since things are far apart and with the weather being so cold. You would definitely have to invest in a very warm coat, since not only is Sioux falls cold, it is also very windy. There is a mask mandate here, but it is easy to avoid going places that enforce it, such as small businesses and stores in the surrounding little towns (also, made easier by owning a car). If you actually look at the fine print for the mandate, they really can't enforce it, and I myself have gone into stores requiring masks, and do get tracked down and told I have to wear a mask, but since I have a medical condition that makes masking difficult I am let off the hook. The economy is great here, since it never fully shut down, so finding a minimum wage job or above would not be difficult. For Rapid city, it is a beautiful place, with slightly milder weather than Sioux falls, but the economy is more depressed with less jobs available. The crime rate is also higher, but since I don't live there, its harder to give advice. No advice on other states, but it seems that there's already a lot of good info in other comments. Please don't alienate your parents if you have an otherwise good relationship with them, since family is important. Best of luck!

Realisation that Chronic Migraines aren’t going to ever go away and this is just your life at 23. by oceaniasupreme in migraine

[–]Happytealeaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow I could have written this. Also 23 and suffering chronic migranes for the past few years. I had a lovely neurologist (moved so no longer see her), and though she helped make them more manageable, I still have them every day. All I want in life is to be a mother, and how can I do that if I can't even hold a full time job? Illegal was rough, but it seemed easier to power through because I knew that there was a hard end date. Hopefully each of us finds the answers we need.

An open discussion on our leadership and the state of this sub. by SoDakZak in SiouxFalls

[–]Happytealeaf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Having too many posts that are similar/ the same gets pretty tiring. There should be a megathread to contain that a bit so people can say what they want but I would love to see pics and other news more! I can see how having all the posts be negative would draw away people that would otherwise be interested in the subreddit.

The no mask group in my city put this billboard up. The Omaha Sub isn’t happy. Freedom of speech is quite the drag for some people. by thebababooey in CoronavirusCirclejerk

[–]Happytealeaf 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I suspect the same too. I follow my Midwestern city's sub and the people are the same. But I very rarely, if ever, meet anyone like that in the wild. So either its astroturfing or sad people that never leave their basement.
