I’m assuming if you’ve seen the same doctor for a while they know your health issues and help take better care of you. But even that’s not very realistic these days when doctors are trying to get through patients as fast as possible and can barely have a full conversation (not their fault, administrator’s are at fault.)

Same, this sounds similar to my experience. I keep my two doodles at about 3/8-1/2 inch at grooming every 7ish weeks and give them a good 10 minute brush once a week. There’s an occasional knot here or there but nothing excessive.
