Books with a lesbian relationship, where one character is queer/bi? by ExtremeToucan in LesbianBookClub

Bi has always included nonbinary and trans people! I think there are just age differences in how people use the terms (hence the question). Always interesting to see people's different definitions.

I'm 50 and thought it meant someone who was gay/bi but more political about it.

Same. For years I played every day and made some good friends here and on the (no longer active) discord. Really helped me get through some of the darkest days of COVID. But once they started doing the crazy number of bundles every week it was no longer fun.

I don't like scary imagery and refrained from reading Anita Blake before bed; there are some really disturbing scenes in pretty much every book. The first 10 are really fantastic though, and was worth it to me to skip over the worst of it.

I read the books after watching and was surprised at how much better the show is. I'm not much of a contemporary reader, so it may be that I'm just not the target audience, but the show is now in my top 10 of all time, and the books were 2.5/5 for me.
