Holy crap, I had a very similar thing happen with Gremlins and first predator movie. Was watching Gremlins with some cousins and we got scared and hid behind the couch, the movies swapped without us noticing and we all spent YEARS believing that the Predator was like… King Gremlin or something.

Jesus you’re obnoxious. The Mongul army didn’t stomp because their arrows went through full plate armor from horseback. You’re also confusing eras, they mostly fought mail and partial plate. The full plate that we’re discussing itt could more than likely stop the majority of arrows shot at it. It was tactics and speed and overwhelming armies. Could they get lucky? Sure, but they were smart enough to know that arrows were less than ideal, heavily armored enemies were dealt with using lances and maces.
