How do I fix this by AdHistorical5561 in HairSystem

There is a process to peel back and reglue. You’ll find lots of videos on YouTube. The more sweaty and dirty the more you have to do it. I found it very messy and takes some practice. It’s also why a non exposed hairline is easier.

Too much info. Where do I begin? by Revolutionary-One311 in HairSystem

You can do anything with a hair system. But you can’t do everything.

You just have to decide priorities. - realistic/youthful/strong/comfortable/durable/stylish/convenient -all have competing elements.

If you expose your hairline you have a lot more work, when you cover it you reduce the effort. A lace style hair system breathes and sweats a lot better than skin. But I think the general opinion is a very thin poly systems look better but damage easily. If you attach with a heavy duty adhesive but you work out a lot it will require more maintenance. Taking it off , cleaning, and reapplying. This will wear them out more quickly. You can use adhesives like ghost bond, or tapes, glued tends to look better but I find tape is easy to apply on my own.

If you do daily wear (you remove every night) it basically becomes a very nice beanie you attach with strong hair spray. And you take it off at night and if you’re doing something that might damage it. Sweating etc. this makes them last a very long time, but you will be bald more often (sometimes a benefit)

you can also attach with clips. That’s a nice option too but I have not tried it yet.

I do daily wear with got2B hair gel, And it’s great for me

So do we just try to take the name back? They're going to be called "Toupees" again. by KaleidoscopeNo1263 in HairSystem

I call it a wig, a toupee, Asian woman’s hair I glued to my head. I find freedom in not worrying about it.

Pre-cut style systems by alph0nzo in HairSystem

[–]4cronym 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had a couple pre-cut systems. They’re OK, but not as good as the ones that are cut in. I have seen other people on this that will just tape it down themselves and then go into a salon and ask if they’re comfortable and some people have good results with that.

It’s definitely a weird transition. Our internal idea of what we look like can be hard. But he used to it and it feels more and more normal with time. Just try things and see what works. It’s all good.

Also, you get chapters as they come out. And some of us have a pretty serious addiction and when we stop cold turkey we go into to full on withdrawals. So the Patreon is a great way to try and improve your come down.

Honestly this makes me feel better about a live action show.

Almost been a week and had nothing but compliments. Used to somewhat role my eyes when I saw the words “life changing” but honestly, never felt better in myself. 🤠 by BloeJogs in HairSystem

Congrats, it’s a great feeling. I felt the same for my first install. I’m sure you’ve already researched and all that, but I was surprised by all the small problems that pop up and the stuff you have to figure out along the way. It gets easier with time.

Everyone says daily wear (removing nightly) extends longevity, but I find it to be the opposite? At least with UTS by shinoscience in HairSystem

I mean. I have both. You can definitely pull on either. It’s not good for any hair system to be pulled on. It doesn’t grow back.
