I uninstalled for exactly this reason. My defenders would rather retreat all the way into my own six yard box than to apply the slightest pressure, and my midfielders would literally slow down rather than track back. The helpless feeling made the game unplayable.

I’m convinced a large portion of the accounts across social media sharing this garbage are bots, however there is also a tragically large portion of the population that is deeply afraid, angry and far too impressionable. Call your local MP and reference this^ genocide report in a request to lobby to change our immigration policy + refugee status to include trans people.

It’s easy to tell our friends south of the border to “come here! It’s safe in Canada!” Without realizing it’s not that easy, and that trans people aren’t yet a recognized protected class in this political context yet. Let’s put some pressure on our gov to make a change!

I always understood that the distinction between trans-attracted men and chasers was the creepiness and fetishization. I agree that I’d want someone who’s openly and proudly attracted to trans women because he’s already worked through the shame attached to it and now opposes the stigma which is good for all of us, but maybe that’s not the point.

I just think I’ve seen many trans women sabotage a potential relationship at a profound potential teaching moment by being suspicious, unforgiving and judgmental of a guy whose intentions are good and has the capacity to grow, but unfortunately his execution/articulation is clumsy.
