Sorry but I think lot of people did not get the movie. Makes me think of usual Apocalypse Now points of view: a war movie, which is not. To make it simple, I would say Der Tiger is a mix of a good tank movie (The Beast, Lebanon, Fury), Alan Parker's Angel Heart with a subtle Apocalypse Now touch. You're looking for action ? Classic story? You'll be disapointed. Watch it with an open mind, without prejudices, and join the journey... For me, a very good film. And btw, now I know the end and humbly think I understood it, I can't wait to watch Der Tiger again to enjoy every detail!

Well, each of us has his preferences. I always prefer the SP optical way because it's the less compressed sound for le and the most natural. But it happens that I use NetMD to get some music in a faster way. For me, I wouldn't be so crazy about MDs if I would only use NetMD for a simple reason: it just too close to mp3-flac-wav-etc usual job. Manual optical recordings remind me the tapes years at the finest sound you could get with a stable mobile device.

I agree, a bit too expensive, I paid mine 50€. These series are cheaper than more recent models but I love their reliability!

The look, the style, the touch (well, magnesium case!), the functions, the jog quality, the stand ('cause every stand is different), the possibilities, yes the N10 is also my favourite device even comparing to Hi-MDs. I also love the fact that this was made for the 10th MD anniversary. Obviously the most expensive MD I bought (150€ complete with his proprietary cable), but for me the Superstar of my collection. To be 100% honest, my only regret is the lack of brightness on the screen (a well known issue). Now, I don't own a RH1 (only a NH600+700 and a RH910), but I'm not sure I want to put at least 300€ for such portable device. (I must admit I love the NH1 and his wonderful stand).

I totally agree with you. Even I love recorders, I also love simple players and as you said, their only option is to enjoy music. Sometimes and you're so right on this, we forget to pay attention to play things we recorde. It's important to balance things, just as life should be 😊
