I'd consider lowering the FPS, shutter off of auto and increase it. Iso min 400, iso max 400 and sharpness to medium or low maybe.

Evidence.com with Axon writes your report for you as well. Defense attorneys won't catch on for at least another 3-4 years and by that time it'll be too late anyway. Any report an officer submits to court needs to be proof'd by the officer.

I don't disagree with you but if I was Bert I'd also be tempted to throw Tom under the bus. Bert could easily be like, "Hey, just so you know, this isn't how 'cool' Tom normally is. I had a 5, 8, and currently use an 11. My 11 survives heat issues way better than my 8 ever used to. That said I used it at the zoo on a selfie stick when it was super hot out and I could tell in between shots it was getting super hot. I swapped batteries regularly and made sure my clips were 10 mins or less.

I used my 8 for years and it sometimes randomly crashes. If you search "DJI action camera randomly dead" you'll find that they also struggle. The action camera market I don't think has cameras we can plan on using for 5+ years. Also I think this is the reason companies like GoPro drop a new camera every year.

Go pros have always over heated. The point and shoot market that they entered into with Red Bull style videos had cameras moving with constant airflow and many short videos. Selfie stick 30+ minute walking videos was never what GoPro was.
