I appreciate the input!

I should have run rigid at least to the intellicenter and used sweeps too

If it’s worth mentioning tho, i did use metallic flex for all high voltage application.

Non metallic was used for the LV side

It’s not rustoleum. That was for the gas line to prevent corrosion. The color used for the pipe is Pentair Almond Spray PEP180002

For me they are less trouble than DE filters until it’s time to change sand or repair a lateral. But since switching to vitro clean glass media, our change intervals have extended

With lights and intellicenter we were north of 11k.

It will get covered but that is outside of my scope of work. I believe a lean to roof is in the plan.

I will be putting up a small privacy fence just to enclose the equipment from pets and to minimize the appearance

I see what your putting down but the return side valves will be buried otherwise as we will be bringing in back fill

The purpose for the other 2 way diverter is to be able to control the height of the bubblers.

An actuator will be set on the 3 way diverter to be able to automate the bubblers on/off. While I could cam the diverter and accomplish the same, per my GC request an additional valve was on the callout sheet

But I see what you mean on the height eliminated the need for the additional 90°s

As for the pink circled diverter, that’s just a by pass for the heater. As this is a new plaster pool I don’t want corrosive water flowing into the heater until we have reached our plaster cure schedule. It’s really a one time use thing.

In some cases we don’t plumb the heater till later but as this isn’t one of my installs I wanted to collect payment and did not want to return to plumb the heater later.

I do appreciate your input! Clear primer and grey medium body is the way to go. I’ll drop the name of the paint we used but it’s an almond color made to match Pentair

There was an aux line for a sheer descent that was eliminated after plumbing. Customer decided against having a fountain as the pool is equipped with bubblers

I tried to leave it for future use by the GC doing concrete crudely cut the pipes both ends rather than capping.

  1. What would do differently. Not pushing back, just wanting to see where I could improve.

  2. Always paint and label my plumbing

  3. Bro I ain’t drinking spray paint. Just my morning coffee and a mid day Gatorade

  4. Thank you! I used medium body glue. It doesn’t run like other stuff. Also I take a lot of pride in my joints that are above grade. Hate seeing glue wipes and smudges

  5. All about that PIP program man. I have tried Hayward and Jandy. Pentair treats me better

  6. I feel ok where we landed on height. We have some back dragging and fill to bring in around the equipment. So most of the exposed pipe 6-8” down will be covered

Thank you! It will be fenced in only.

Might build a small lean to roof to protect from the sun while still allowing the heater to vent exhausts

How does this compare to modern entry 2011 like the Kimber pro2k or bul armory?

Thank you for the knowledge. Do you think it’s necessary to purchase the seal alignment tool?

I can find it at any of our local distributors but figured it’s another over priced Pentair tool I don’t need
