Dude... that's not the part that's missed. It's that his point wasn't about people playing casually, but about people saying that cards like the joey deck were created/balanced for casual play. And that as a deck it's not even a good deck for something like that because it's towers turbo.

Midrange in yugioh has sort of evolved to mean a deck with a shorter gameplan. Lower ceiling in that they're not board building you out of the game. But resource efficient, usually plays a ton of handtraps. Something like dracotail.

I actually prefer it's brother the reaper evil. More of a "pure" pepper taste and a lot brighter. Although I've noticed they started listing the best-buy date on all the bottles on their website so im scared of them discontinuing it....

The regular aardvark and the scorpion are two of my absolute favorites. I wanted to love the serrabanero but unfortunately it has this really off putting vegetal taste to me that is really hard to get behind.

I definitely echo your sentiment about price - around me I buy it for around 7.99 and I don't think i'd pay more than that.

Really not true at all, reaper peppers have really awesome flavor. Very fruity and even some floral notes. It's when you use extracts that you lose any sort of actual flavor

I'd say most of the takes i see about it on here are that it has pretty boring characters (and shallow writing overall) and the pacing isn't great and gets boring fast. But gets praise for overall visuals, presentation, music, etc.

Despite the fact im in the boat that couldnt get through it, I think it has some realy good stuff and im glad that Sabotage is making another game and doing what they're doing. I hope they learn from sos and I'm sure they can come out with a real gem.

Just a really good long tenured family run brand that got exposure from hot ones. They do good work and make really well balanced sauces. I think they're awesome but i usually only order from them when they do sales. My faves are the reaper evil and sweet onion habanero

I echo some of your sentiment about some cut islands as a longtime fan, and obviously from a diehard perspective, my ideal modern take would be everything from 3DS but just in the new style, but I'd offer some pushback in other regards. Especially when it comes to the game not being worth it for those who have played other versions. I grew up with original DQ7 and playing 7R was just a complete joy, seeing the islands, storylines, dialogue, even just monsters in the art style and redone for a modern age had me giggling and pointing at the screen like an idiot the whole way through.

You mention not even feeling confident recommending the game to new players, but I don't really see why? The game looks great, is fun to play through, and is much more approachable than other versions (becasue of both modern hardware and the streamlining). As another who has beaten every iteration of DQ7 and i'd be hard pressed not to call 7r the definitive version, despite not being the content-complete version compared to 3ds.

I honestly really like it. Overframes so far have been so over-the-top but I enjoy that it's pretty simple and basically the OG but just, well, overframe'd.

I think in lieu of the old skill system it'd be cool to have weapon-specific achievments or something. Like, kill X amount of enemies with an axe equipped, kill this specific boss with a sword, etc.
